I missed the other DLO FM transmitter/ipod charger that TF had put up 3 times for $8. Lucky me that I did so I could get the deluxe for $13! I've heard from others that their DLO transmitters work great, so I had no reservations in buying this since it comes highly recommended. Thanks Fling!

thanks krhamit. I was just confused about the product description since it didn't mention using the lighter jack. my car doesn't have auxiliary so I was concerned. is the lighter jack necessary to power the unit, or is it just used to charge the iPod? I know some fm transmitters don't need to be plugged in (I guess they use batteries?) but it's cool because you can use them not only in your car but anywhere.

Does anyone know if this works with the lighter plug in the car or just the auxiliary?
