Popping in with very aroma filled brownies for all!!

Hey everyone... I know I keep dropping in and out but, I've never forgotten anyone! Unfortunately, we've had money issues and with 5 kids ... well, it's just better to cover your eyes and stay clear rather than deal with temptation. Although, I have seen a couple mystery boxes that would have been nice... I just can't. I look back on the days that I could just go to the store with pulling out a calculator, or hop online and buy 3 mystery boxes per week and think wow, that was great fun. Now, I hop online and work a few at home jobs a day, on top of my merchandising job. I guess these are just the times we live in and I'm learning to deal with it and make adjustments.
Anyway, I wanted to tell my friends and the royal Court hello!! I miss you all very much!!
Oh BTW, I knew I should have bought these when they were on here.. wanted to but didn't any who.. my in laws came in town and took us to a festival of sorts, I couldn't believe my eyes! You know those teeth whitener things that were on here with the light that brightens your teeth they were sold very inexpensive on here? Well, people were paying $40.00 a treatment to take home and $69.00 for the guy to do it for them. I could have kicked myself. I wanted them for myself but the reviews were 50/50 so I let it go. Needless to say....it worked on the people in the chairs!
I'll keep checking in!!!! Take care.. Happy Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, Ramadan... Birthday,, you name it if I miss it... I said it first!!!!

Thank you all for everything. . .with all this trouble going on...It's good to know that there are those who would bend over backwards ( not literally) for a friend in need. That is for a friend that lives in your computers.

mwhjep wrote:That just sucks. We've helped out several friends in the past and have been lucky. Had one catch a piece of bread on fire in the oven one time and another pee (yes I said pee) in our space heater another time. I could go on and on with the stories lol. So what's the plan? ... Someone with a watch maybe post a wish list and we'll see if we can come up with the stuff on it? I have some stuff I'd be willing to chip in. I'd send you the watch we got but I gifted it already. It's the thought that counts! Thank you!

And if all else fails and you don't get the watch, at least you can have a long list of random trade things to give him instead!!!! I'm in Indiana. Most the homes are now out of water... but, are a total loss because they didn't have flood insurance. Reason being... they don't live in flood plains. Homes and lives destroyed. It breaks my heart when I drive down around those areas and a Red Cross vehicle is calling on an intercom for people to come get their hot meals. They come out of everywhere. I also see businesses with bottled water outside for free for those who were affected. You take for granted everything on a daily basis... I'm just counting my blessings.

You guys ...I'm at a loss for words.
Let me fill you in on my step dad....
He is a man of faith... goes once a year to Guatemala to build huts for the poor families. instead of enjoying his weekends off from work, he spent the last 2 weeks rescuing and helping the families with their things. He had no boat so he walked through the 4 ft waters to the ones in need. He offered his truck to load the items pulled from the homes to his garage to hold until they could find storage. He also volunteers for Vacation Bible School, and Sunday school. (Even the nursery) Geesh when i look at that typed ... I think he needs a weekend away! Anyone work for a hotel chain? lol. There's so much more he does but, it would take all day!
I appreciate all the kindness, and support. It's hard when someone violates your space, it's even harder when it's someone you know. I'm very grateful to you all for letting me vent. I stayed up until 6am distraught. I know it's silly because it was in an MB but, it was a really great item..ya know.
Thanks all
Milky.. his bday is July 26.
