Hello everyone, What a beautiful morning at the ThingFling Kingdom. Item running out in 2 hours and I see Shaggy and Lady worried about this coupon situation. Fools, this is the only place I see this type of reaction from inside the company. Before you say anything. Yes, I have been around in many many places. MWPollard wrote:Can we get a Shaggy bonus if we order 5 sets? (Like say, some 12v splitters? ) You wish ! dabattle wrote:OK, I did my part. You could show your appreciation by shagging my order So now we not only gotta sell at cost but we also have to satisfy you anxiety with a surprise excitement on every little order. I bet you Shaggy would love but since this is my 2 cents. Dream on! krhamit wrote:Would be nice to get the coupon to use tomorrow in case there is a fling-a-thon. many different items with ship free after 3. Oh sure, we have so many products all gadget related at ridiculous prices on our inventory but we don’t feel like listing them. No no, we rather keep them here. liammc wrote:I'm sure it will be a positive experience. TF takes care of us all as a family. I just hope They don't make make me the weird cousin ! Promotion Name:NotsureifIcanshowthissobabbletyping Start Date:8/25/2008 Expiration Date:9/25/2008 Discount:$5.00 OFF Min Order Amount:10.00 Someone has to! Besides, how many flinger do you think bought 5 of this! n3uka wrote:Now that the coupon mystery is solved.
Do we get 5 power supplies with an order or only one for the 5 units? I just couldn’t let this one slide. Of course not, like the picture shows, you get 5 lights and only one adapter. Why would you use 5 adapters for 5 lights anyway?

rabidamoeba wrote:I'm seriously hoping that this is a typo, because one of the best things about FlingThing has been their prompt responses to issues. And if they are all off on vacation for a month, then I'm assuming no one is going to put up a reply to this thread. Oh, the insanity!
VeeDub, you may burn the internet now... j/k. Off on vacation for a month???

mavinwow wrote:"Free" shipping was one thing that helped differentiate thingfling in the marketplace. Why would you want to make yourselves even more like woot? It is all psychological, people hate paying for shipping. You had hidden shipping prices in a very good way, and I am not a fan of this change. You're hoping you can convince people to "save!" by buying more, brilliant. Isn`t that the reason we are in business?

jmesick wrote:I did open a ticket and I did ask them about the remote and they simply replied back with the shipping number telling me that it had shipped already. Obviously I had the tracking number and obviously I had checked to the status of the package, how did that help me? They could have said give it x amount of time and if you still don't receive it take these steps to have a replacement sent out... but nothing. And it is Thing Flings fault for choosing the shipping method and not offering another method. Obviously they are sending by way of china with the cheapest, lowest priority USPS method possible. I have shipped to third world countries that take a month for it to get there. New Jersey to Boston should not take 3-4 weeks no matter what method. I mean I could have walked there and back in 3-4 weeks. Give me the option to "pick up" or pay for Fedex or UPS if the free shipping sux that bad. No matter how good their deals are, they are still running a business and should set customer expectations. As much as I agree that the shipping time is excessive, that`s what happens now. We are working to make this process better, but it takes time. In the meantime, if you do not receive your item, send a ticket to the Help Desk and we will analyze your situation and proceed accordingly, as we always have.

eibenjr wrote:Thing Fling wrote:There is no manufacturer warranty on the remote but remember; you have 3 days to open and inspect the package, if you didn't like it, it doesn't work... just send it back!
The remotes are refurbished and they were repacked in the original retail open package.
Hope this helps... DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT!!!!! EVEN AFTER READING THIS ABOVE. MY REMOTE DOES NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY AND WAS TOLD I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING COSTS TO SEND IT BACK TO RECEIVE A DIFFERENT ONE. HOW IS THIS MY FAULT WHEN THE COMPANY SENT ME A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT?????? AS I SAID BEFORE DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT. THINGFLING DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ITS CUSTOMERS! Have you EVER heard of our FAQ?

Assuming that's how it goes down, that is. I'll bide my time for a bit longer before I go from patient to loud and ticked off Their email to me said that they used up all they had to replace the ones shipped with UK plugs. I can understand your disappointment, I too would rather have 3 good sets rather than just a refund. Hope it works out for you. I also hope TF gets some satisfaction from whomever they bought them from as I'm sure they are losing money on the deal with all the time spent and shipping charges. I suspect it is the nature of the "close out" business that you get some lemons now & then......... Right on! And to think that there are people who think we do that on purpose .
