My tracking info says that it shipped on 10/9...it wold be delivered on 10/10...now i have nothing, still for tracking info...
I mean...I would expect this from USPS, but not fedex.

My charger just came! Now it is testing time! After taking it apart and re-situating some parts, it looks like it is charging...

Tickets and Emails, actually.
They had responded to my initial email stating that they would ship me a new one, but it never came. When i responded asking for some sort of shipping or tracking information over a week later, they said that they would check with shipping and let me know. A week after that, i submitted another ticket and a response to their email.
They told me that they would "Send me another one".
Odd, since i never got the one that was supposed to come with the AMB, or the one that they were going to send out afterwards...
Normally I am pretty happy with TF...They really seemed to drop my ball on this one, though.
We'll see if the charger gets here in time for this weekend's project.

I still haven't gotten the charger that was supposed to come with this, and thingfling helpdesk will not respond to my emails.
AWESOME.
Thanks, TF!

For the record, I just heard back from TF a few hours ago and they are sending my charger. THANKS, TF!

I submitted a ticket yesterday evening and got a response a few hours ago (along with a similar email beforehand)

Time to send a message to support! It would have been great if it came with blades and bits, too...but the hilarious socket set is a good thing as well. I assume that i will be getting the charger (since, you know, i paid for it), so overall this is my best fling yet! WAAAAAAAAY better than the last mystery box...

I'm excited to see the mystery items, myself.
I hope it is drill bits and saw blades!

The only potentially useful item was a battery backup for a cordless phone is case the power goes out. Not that everyone does not have a cell phone available but it might prevent a missed call...maybe.
Here is the rest:
A wireless card for a laptop, because both of my laptops already have it built in. I do not know of any laptop that does not these days.
A docking station for a Phillips MP3 player. OK, Phillips makes MP3 players. Does anyone buy them?
A wireless brake light for a motorcycle. I do not understand why this was even manufactured. Since it connects to the brake system of the motorcycle, it could not be used for say, a bicycle.
A Phillips headphone to stereo cable. Maybe useful to someone that does not already have several cables from other BOCs and several wireless ways to stream music from an MP3 player. Not that I use any of them since the PC is right there anyway and has great speakers.
An Xbox online connection cable.
And my favorite, an empty speaker enclosure. I guess this was the items needed to push the weight over ten pounds. Nothing like a hunk of steel, particle board and carpet to add some needed weight to ensure you don't put anything potentially useful in the box.
I'm on the same page... I got more use out of my $3 mystery box. Maybe ebay will redeem this one...but I'm dissapointed. I mean, the mystery box IS a total crapshoot, any we all know this...but I thought that i would get SOMETHING slightly useful... I guess, if anything, I learned that phillips apparently makes an MP3 player, and the dock connection is infuriatingly close to that of an iPod.
