Odd... I have a unit with the same model number, but they look nothing like this. You can see mine here: http://www.amazon.com/Te...tribution/dp/B00009UHXR
In any case, FWIW, mine don't work with a piss...

These deals always seem so good until you realize the shipping is twice as much as the item itself! Come on ThingFling, stop trying to rip us off on shipping costs! You know it don't cost $6 to ship these things... at the very least, it shouldn't cost $6 for a second item when they'll be shipping together.

Don't bother getting this ugly thing! Instead, get this much more up-to-date outdoor antenna (and probably more powerful since it is powered) for a tad cheaper. http://www.monoprice.com...0&seq=1&format=2

I'd be in for 2 sets if they weren't totally hideous.

Hey guys, I wanted to throw some input into this... LittleGiant's patents are now expired. Which means Werner, one of the biggest ladder manufacturers out there with a very good reputation, has models exactly like it, but cheaper. Lowe's currently has one just like this LittleGiant on sale for $69. I bought one a few days ago and it is exactly the same and is VERY high quality. I love it. http://www.lowes.com/low...p;detail=&lpage=none

These are cheaper on monoprice.com... and if you're okay with purple, WAY cheaper. Monoprice cables are very high quality too. http://www.monoprice.com...5&seq=1&format=2

This EXACT same 2-pack was on Woot today for the same price when you include shipping - right down to the penny.
This couldn't possibly be a coincidence. Something tells me ThingFling and Woot have the same dealer for these things...

Fragulator wrote:Okay so it says its compatible with the touch, and others are saying no charging for the 2nd gen touch. I can't even get any sound out of it unless I use the auxiliary cable to the headphone jack of my new Ipod touch 2nd. gen. My touch worked in a coworkers system. So do I have a bad inmotion or is something else wonky? And yes I have checked the connection several times over and over. To say the least I am very disappointed, No charging, (something I really wanted) and it doesn't play when docked like it should. How is Thing Fling with returns? Anyone have experience with them? Thanks My guess is you have a bad unit... I'd call the manufacturer before calling ThingFling though. i have an iPhone 3G, which is electronically the same as the iPod Touch, and it works great.

I'm also wondering whether the hip case and vent mount are for 1st or 2nd gen ipods. I can assure you that these will only work with the 1ST GENERATION iPod Touch. It will not charge the 2nd gen and while the case might fit, it won't be perfect. The reason is because the 2nd gen iPod Touch uses an extra pin in the connector and has a slightly different case on it.

Falcon4 wrote:IT'S NOT CALLED AN iTouch, PEOPLE... WHAT THE HELL*rant* Seriously, I can't believe that mislabel has made itself not only to the title of a product on a reputable web retailer, but also embedded in the product image itself... IT'S NOT CALLED AN iTOUCH. It's called an iPod Touch. iPod. Touch. iPod. iPod is the operative word here. Probably also works with iPhones. I'm not even an Apple freak (I have a room full of PCs and never owned an OSX-era Mac). But apparently this guy is: http://theramblingsoflew...-not-called-itouch.html
It's sickening how far this blatant mis-labeling has gotten, and I'm just doing my part to stop it. Look on the back of the damn product, people. It says iPod. edit: This thread appears to be the authority on the subject. http://forums.macrumors....showthread.php?t=445790
Including the fact that pet peeves come up for discussion on forums quite naturally and doesn't mean people will go to the trouble of owning a T-shirt saying "it's not called an iTouch"; it's just an annoyance... Hear, hear... I am an Apple freak, and it pisses me off too. Perhaps we should start calling their other products the iNano, iClassic, i3G, and iShuffle.
