4 20-foot cords for connecting lights to panel - I would like to see what those cords look like. Are they two simple wires, or is there some type of proprietary connection. Why can't I just have the solar panel right next to the light, like in the picture?

It seems that would waste a lot of power, going 20' from each solar panel to each light, and if you are going to mount this on your lawn, you should really use PVC pipes for those wires, otherwise, the sun, or rodents will eat right through those cords.

If I could see the cord I would probably buy these. I'm on the fence.

Any way of knowing if this can be externally powered? Doesn't look like it includes a power supply.
