I might could would potentially think about pulling the trigger on this one if I knew it would work with my x10 (and future replacement) home automation. If your thinking x10 would be cool just browse their message boards, before you pull the trigger on x10. It says its RF but to me it just looks like the RF sends info to the cone which then converts to IR.

You needn't worry about it being too powerful. What ever you hook to it will only draw the power it needs. For example if you hook a 60W bulb to this its not going to blow the bulb. The bulb will only draw the 60W. The only worries you should be having is with the size, price and apparently how it hooks to your car or voltage source. Yet the later can be changed easily with a soldering iorn and a can do attitude.

I don't think you would want to use your cars internal wiring if your actually pulling 800W. Krispy internal car wiring is hard to replace. That being said if your just looking to charge a cell phone or laptop there are inverters better suited to your needs that will plug in to your car's 12V outlet. Additionally these other inverters are cheeper if you look in the right places at the right times. Maybe the king could locate some if you ask him real nice.
On the other hand if your trying to power a lightbulb, sterio and a few water pumps in your solar/wind powered, off grid greenhouse/garden shed, this might just be the ticket.

All I can say is I hope this guy/gal gets the note with his item that says: You need to learn to play nice with others and share your toys, your other two items have been canceled and refunded. Besides, why would you need three ********s?

As for how to improve the promotion I think its started. The groove grave, hot dog grill and glass thermometer/timers were getting old. Want people to buy other things offer more of other things. The same few items rotating through made the quest for .99 stale. Thanks for starting to list more of different things. It also looks like you have reduced quantities on listed items so they seem to scroll faster. As for those saying the upcoming .99 cent should not be listed if you can do it without removing the rest of the upcoming cue, great; if not leave it on. I would rather see whats coming up and know if I need to stick around a bit longer to get the XYZ I want. The upcoming is one of the things that keeps me coming back to the fling. It sets you apart from the other deal at a time sites, along wit more than one item a day and more stuff I actually want.

Another thing you might try is to put upcoming .99 item in the subject of all deals, so all those people watching deal a day tracker sites that don't update often enough to catch every item know to come by and keep an eye. Not that I want more competition on the .99 deal but... were talking best for the King here.

Love this idea... unfortunately hate the brand.
I got a 4 pack with charger of this brand from the local big lots close out store one of the 4 batteries held a 2 second charge in the free Duracel flashlight I got with another battery purchase. But at this price thats a bunch of batteries so I guess a few lost wouldent be the end of the world. On top of that I already have a lot of re-chargeables.

Regardless I'm glad to see the king's minions are changing up the offerings a little more during this promotion. I thought i would never see the end of the hotdog grill.

I can't seem to find what I thought I had seen was a combo of the usb bluetooth receiver/transmitter and the stereo receiver in the past forum descriptions. Maybe I was dreaming.

So i figurer this would allow me to hook my bluetooth enabled phone/computer to my stereo. Isn't the half of the combo yall were selling a while back? I already got the USB bluetooth for my computer several months ago when it was offered, so the combination was another USB bluetooth that I didn't need.
How does it work when I get a call when I'm using it with the phone?
Ring tone (SB techno) blares through the stereo's speakers. I hit the button to answer said call. How can they hear me talking? If there is indeed a mic on the unit or it defaults to the phone mic how would feedback be prevented? Is this just the bluetooth version of the wired thing I recently got for my phone: Made to clip on the lapel and has a mic, then you plug in head phones.

I woulden't say it was clear. Even though the description said they were being clear. If one, like myself, did not get said e-mail and just checked the site and read the description, it said nothing about the 5 orders having to be from the special promotion. It just said you had to have 5 orders.

Yes, after ordering in the forums it became clear to me the rules. I wasn't terribly upset that the one Item I did order came with a note saing my MB had been canceled. As far as I was concerned I just saved the $10. Well low and behiold later on I get the e-mail saying my MB order has shipped. I don't know if someone read my comments and took pitty, they just had extras, or just good coustomer service. Regardless I guess I'll be seeing mine anyday now.

Why Im not sure... Well I have over 5 flings but not in the past few days. The description wasn't entirely clear if I had to make 5 or more purchases this month or not. Well I stayed up an extra hour just for it to roll around, after seeing it on the upcoming, only to read the description and wonder.

It potentailly implies that I need to have made my orders During the "Blow out", that I had no clue was an event. Guess thats what I get for not reading descriptions. Yet it never really donnects the 5 order limit to the "Blow Out" other than putting them into the same paragraph.

Guess I'll just wait and see if I gets it or it gets cancled.

Just an after thought on a positive note ... the dimming effect is pretty cool. When set to sound they light then over the course of about 20-30 seconds it slowly dims till its off. During those middle of the night bathroom runs get your stream aimed before it goes out
