The units have a temporary snooze feature that turns off the beeping when out of range for 1 minute at a time. Simply hit the snooze button (like on your alarm clock) and the unit will silence for a while and then start locating again.
Naturally you can also shut off the the receiver piece at any time.

tenguzake wrote:I ordered this last time. I received the right power supply but my remote work the system. I've used new batteries, I've tested it and it sends the IR signal so it must be something with the speaker. It's to big to put back in the box and return. I'll try a universal remote with the Toshiba codes. On a positive note, I also added a powered subwoofer and it works great for my living room. Thanks Thing Fling! You should have gotten a SRU9600 when we had'em cheap Contact our HelpDesk and they will take care of any problems you may have

Off Topic wizodz wrote:It does not say anywhere that you are limited to 2 timers per account. You are ripping people off to offer free shipping with multiple orders and then not allow them to order after they have processed the first 2 orders to get to the free shipping. And then to charge $5 to cancel is an outrage. I am not the only one you have cheated on this deal! I guess your flingers better know you don't play by your own rules. Flingers beware!! The rules are clearly stated. You also need to understand that we often list more than one item in one day and on this overlapping of items in one day we get Flingers that to take advantage of the free shipping opportunity.

buyitjody wrote:I've never heard anything bad about Little Giant ladders, but I don't own one myself. Unfortunately, this particular one would not be a good fit for us because my hubby is a big man (weighing in at 275 lb), so the suggested 250 lb limit for this ladder makes it so I can't buy it (or I would). The two ladders we have are a 350 lb weight limit. Remember to account for not only the weight of people, but the fact that you are usually lugging something up that ladder also. And if you are truely going to let two people stand on the A-frame at a time...well...250 lb weight limit most likely will not cut it.
I'd say if you just moved in a house or something, need a ladder, weigh 215 lbs or less, and anticipate only letting one person at a time use the ladder, then GET THIS. Ladders are not cheap if you get a decent one and the fact that this can be used as an A-frame or extension, makes it a great deal. Just a minor correction to your statement. The ladder is a fully rated Type 1 ladder (PER SIDE). That means that 250lbs can be safely supported on each side of the A-Frame for a total of 500 total lbs. If the ladder is opened to and extension mode then the limit is 250. Also while the ladder is rated at 250lbs per side unless you are climing and using the top rungs even a 300lb person can still use the ladder on the lower levels.

I used to be like that, but have pretty much gotten past it. As an example though, if this was just listed as a regular item, I would have glanced at it and passed it by. Since it was listed as a mystery, I did some searching - as a lot of other people did - and found it to be the AL Soundbar. Even though I now know what it is, I am still considering buying it. There's just something about the word "mystery" even when the mystery is solved! I was pretty loaded up on speakers from other DOD sites and TF mystery boxes. But, I needed a set at work and decided to donate my own rather than buy on the company's buck, my duaghter moved out of the house and I gave her a set, I sold a few sets at a street sale, and now my brother-in-law asked me if I had any spare speakers! So, I just might have to replenish my speaker stock after all. And, these certainly do look different! Still trying to decide thoug h - I think I have some time to make up my mind. Wish they had added $4 or $5 bucks to the price and thrown in a couple true mystery items. I would have jumped at that. Well, I'll mull it over until lunch time. " even when the mystery is solved!" - or so you think Oooooooooo, Shaggy! Getting sneaky on me here now, aren't you? Just toying with me to make an extra sale, aren't you? Well, OK. You made one! LOL - it worked... But seriously I've looked around and couldn't find. Found one auctioning for $10 plus $12 shipping and still going on... Also was reading over slickdeals.net about the this item YOU guys are mentioning with some good reviews some time ago Funny will be when Flingers start receiving the Mystery...
