I don't know what the technical term is.. frames?? But, the double vertical scrolling that I have to do when looking at a thread is driving me crazy.

Browser: Firefox & IE
Screen resolution: 1280 x 768

Thoughts?

It's like that for every one. It's because they have one frame in another frame and they both scroll. You get used to it after a while.

I know what you mean, studville... i'm not used to the format yet, but it really does get on my nerves too, esp. when some threads are long (left to right) and you have to use your cursor to move the frame right too..

Hopefully, they'll change it before i get used to it. Neutral

Yes, the technical term is frames. (I guess technically it's an inline frame, but same concept)
I recommend just going directly to: https://www.thingfling.com/forum/default.aspx
No frames to deal with

I just realized that if you click on this link directly from the thingfling page, it won't help any. If you right click and choose open in new window or just copy and paste the address to the address bar, it should do it.

Pasted from a post I did the other day.....

I simply right click on the "Thingfling Forums" link located right below "forums" and just above "products" and then I choose "Open In New Tab"

And it was also mentioned in this other post that if you use IE7.0 you can hold your CTRL button down and click on the ThingFling Forums and it will open in a new tab. And if you hold your shift key down and click the link it will open in a new window.

Thanks guys, I was just noticing that the smaller frame was forcing me to scroll sideways too!
"First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then, shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then flingest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."
