Looks like they are currently running about 10-13 days on getting items out the door. I'm currently waiting on some items ordered on 1/17, one has shipped but several haven't yet. I'm also waiting for one order placed on 1/13, this one I'm not worried about yet though. Figure I'll give them till 1/31 on this one before I ask about it. Need to keep in mind that around 1/1 or so Thingfling had about 1700 members signed up. They hit 10,000 members the other day. They are getting SWAMPED beyond thier wildest expectations. I am guessing 15 days minimum to get goods.... however, some people are getting things within 3-4 days. It seems like anyone in the tri-state NJ, NY area are getting things quicker. As for me...well Michigan is a far cry from NJ. Just be patient I am sure king is realizing he needs to hire some extra hands on staff! You can't make everyone happy all the time ....but you can be sure thingfling.com can make you happy most of the time!

If you click on the "my account" tab, you will be able to see the status of your order. With all my orders, except for one from 1-13, I have always gotten my stuff within 2 weeks. Something else to keep in mind is TF started off at the first of the month with only about 1700 registered users - this week they broke the 10,000 mark! I am guessing they will be a little swamped for a while until they can get some more flingsters hired. Does your kids' school have a Circle of Friends? If they are not able to keep up with shipping out items in a timely fashion, I think maybe they need to cut back on products they're offering. Fix the current problem before creating new ones. IMHO

From 1700 members to 10,000 in one month? Impressive. But also alarming. E-stores often fail as quickly as they rise. Let's hope they are prepared enough to sustain. However, number of members doesn't equate to swamped shipping. They offer only a certain quantity of each item. So they are aware of the potential shipping load before they even upload the next item. I think they DEFINITELY need to add email order-updates. In this day, consumers expect it. Especially if it takes two weeks, or longer, to receive an item. Heck, I'm glad I payed with PayPal 'cause it's the only confirmation I have for even placing an order!!

You can also look under the "my account" button and see the status of your order, and as of yesterday, you can click on it and print out the invoice if you want. They are making improvements to the site - being able to see what you ordered was a popular request and they got that added. Email confirmation is another popular request, so I bet it won't be long 'til they get that going. Does your kids' school have a Circle of Friends?
