It seems every few days between 1am and 8am eastern time Thingfling's server has a few bugs.

As unfortunate as that is- I thought it would help Thingfling some if we posted the exceptions & major outages that we experience.

On January 11th & 2:10am Thingfling's server reported 'an unexpected error' on the product listing part. The forums page came up with a ASP.NET server notice that a scheduled shutdown was in progress.
I forgot to take note of the error & Exception thrown that went along with the note ' of User "Electro" has scheduled a shutdown to occur'.

Reply: Why sleep when I can leap at the cheap flings they bring if I can just report the strings that keeps going short, thus thwart the abort?

1/13/07 10:30am Eastern,
Your 'time left' states '00:00" on the item. If your going to run out of time on an item- Don't you think its really silly to say 00:00 time left? Seems like a bug to me. =(

Never mind. I'm going to stop posting these things here. Looked up that error code and its a Norton Antivirus error for opening too many pages at once. I'll lay off the coffee.

That is a norton antivirus error? Certainly doesn't look like one.
Where did you see that that was a norton error?

To me it looks like one of their dlls/source files can't be read because of too many connections at once... not sure though
