Dear neo1068,

If you're concerned your information was compromised you should contact our helpdesk.

We follow the highest standards in security measures established by the industry and we are certified PCI compliant.

If your personal information was compromised we highly doubt that it came from ThingFling.

Also, you only have one order that was paid with a credit card so you might want to check somewhere else you used your credit card or if you have a problem on your computer.

Please feel free to contact our helpdesk and we will do what we can to assist you.

LOL, one order. Hah. You know I have observed a trend with certain folks (I'm going to guess the DoTD noobs mainly, to confuse any and all DoTD sites, except say Woot.. People can't keep track of where they're ordering from. Bad Grin

Not to mention the smear campaigns..

For the record, I have full faith and trust in TF. I've made frequent orders over the past two years, mostly credit card transactions. Never a problem.

But as always.. if in doubt about a retailer..... RESEARCH (ie resellerratings), use paypal/google checkout... and if they don't take either of those (perhaps shady in and of itself these days...) and you still feel compelled to order there... Use virtual/prepaid/one-time use credit cards... The PayPal Plugin (works on Firefox and Internet Explorer) makes it dead easy to generate one time use virtual cards on the spot, for anyone with a PayPal account.

Neo, you know Spy has access to your order history, so his saying you've only used your credit card in one order implies you must have used paypal or google checkout in your other order (if you say you've only made 2.) Anyhow.. Not trying to call you out here, but I think it's imporatnt that you know ThingFling isn't some dubious seedy new company, they've been around for several years have a good reputation, and are trustworthy. Don't take my word for it, check resellerratings. But the faster you realize TF isn't the source of your problems, the faster you can look for the real culprit. But, if you're getting dubious charges from somewhere, it's best to assume your numbers were stolen, so get your CC company to close those numbers and issue you new ones. Good luck.
