I am mad. I ordered one of these and pd $6 shipping. I ordered a second and pd $4 shipping and then went to order 8 more w/free shipping and it said I could not order any more after I paid the shipping for the 1st two. No place does it say there is a limit of 2 timers. Thing Fling IS RIPPING ME OFF!!! I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR A LONG TIME and never had this happen before.

I am almost in the same boat. I did order 2 with $6 shipping, 2 with $4 shipping, and wanted to get 2 more with free shipping but can't. I really wanted 5 with a total of $10 shipping (for all, etc.) and I have 4 now. (I'd have gone for 6 to keep one as a spare).

I agree though, I was a bit put out that there was/is no mention of "limit 2 orders". (apparently you can get 1 or 2 units per order, but no way to get free shipping on this alone.) I wonder if there will be anything else I want to fling/buy later today -- I guess we do now qualify for free shipping this day. (But I really just wanted these.)

I've used this unit before and it works very well. You can add a standard "plug in timer" to really get some flexibility. Since this unit is NOT DIGITAL (with the digital display and microcontroller and buttons that loses settings when not plugged in, etc.) and has a nice "analogue knob" (that stays PUT when power is on/off), you can set it for "off after 4 hours of dusk" and plug that into a timer and you have a very cheap "On at dusk, off after 4 hours, but never on earlier than 5pm or off later than 11pm, etc." This is nice for areas that have lots of power glitches. The "digital ones" need to be reset whenever disconnected from power but this unit just works.

It does not say anywhere that you are limited to 2 timers per account. You are ripping people off to offer free shipping with multiple orders and then not allow them to order after they have processed the first 2 orders to get to the free shipping. And then to charge $5 to cancel is an outrage. I am not the only one you have cheated on this deal! I guess your flingers better know you don't play by your own rules. Flingers beware!!

Along with the above posters good review, Amazon has good reviews on this timer also. I ordered 2 myself for my future outdoor light installation.

I do think ThingFling should list in the description the max you can order.

It won't let me order. I went back to see if I could order more than 2 and now it won't let me place a single order for these. Please fix Fling.

I love a deal, remember deals are not always attached to strings but sometimes you have to read the fine print and yes TF be kind on the shipping.

I can't believe people think they get ripped off when there's no way anyone makes a profit off this stuff, especially when they offer free shipping too.

I bought one of these timers a little while back, when I went to use it the thing didn't work. Even though its free I still won't buy it (shipping).

Arrow The rules are clearly stated. You also need to understand that we often list more than one item in one day and on this overlapping of items in one day we get Flingers that to take advantage of the free shipping opportunity.
