oldchick Hi, Oldchick  This story about Shagged boxes is interesting. I'm going to quote an explanation that a dear Flinger wrote. I think she explained better than I could. The idea and the purpose of those boxes is gift members of our community. We really make only a few boxes but this number always increase when we sell more. Anyway, here is the quotation. The shag has evolved over time, its first inception was a Lady Fling Unique box which was defined and introduced by Shaggy Fling as a "Unique" box:

I made that Mystery Box. Shhh I chose all items inside, packed them and gave them to the shipping guy to put the label on it. And I told Shaggy: "Hey, do you want to bet that this is going to be the best box in the game?"
And the idea came... What about unique boxes? What about choosing 3 boxes among the next Mystery Boxes to make the special ones? What about coming up with a Special Edition and putting up for sale about 20 boxes only with a special price? or yet, Who can make up the best one: me, Shaggy, the King, the Queen, among others in the crew? The idea is not complete but they are coming and I want you Flingers to let us know when one of you receive it!
Dancing We will start produce unique boxes... Maybe I'll do it, maybe Shaggy. We'll let you know!!! And i am sure you will appreciate them!!
Since that first official Unique box in early January 2008, the boxes title more or less has been transformed into the modern day Shag. Current invoices shipped with all ThingFling orders now list whether or not the order has been Shagged (Yes or No). Although special boxes are created by various members of the thingfling staffers, they all now more or less appear to be referred to as shags, even when not done by Shaggy Fling. Early on it was thought that three shags would be performed per every mystery box event, however that number in later events has greatly increased. In some of the mystery box events they have stated special boxes will be done up for every 1,000 items sold. Selection is as best can be observed, random, for the majority of Shags--unless the shag was won in a ThingFling game(Such as the Spy Fling box that was done as reward for guessing whose hands were ina past ThingFling video (It was Spy's)) or if the staffer simply is inspired to create such a box for a particular member.
The shag will continue to evolve; Yesterdays shag is different than tomorrow's--but one things for sure, as he shag weaves its path of generous debauchery, it leaves a trail of very bewildered, and happy, flingers.
