Nice Haul. If it is indeed spring cleaning time it will be interesting to see what everyone else got. Perhaps everyone will get differnt items in their boxes.
On a side note: Do people still listen to CD's?

I have many of them as well, but nowadays I figured most prefered a more 'portable' format. I dont know what Id do without my mp3 player. I get to carry 1/4 of my music collection around with me all the time

I get to carry 1/4 of my music collection around with me all the time I still listen to CDs as well, have a pretty extensive collection too BTW for those that were picking at the cassette adapter a couple of weeks ago from a MB on another site... Yup still use one of those too. My vehicle( used 1995 Ford Windstar) didn't come with cd player and never planned on having it the 4+ yrs I have had it. But other than in the vehicle I use my MP3 player and carry around most of my music collection around with me on micro sd cards... lol about 10 of them. about 25 GB of MP3s. ~~Jinx "I reject your reality and substitute my own" - Adam Savage, Mythbusters Flings Flung: 40 total orders- Regular items- 22 Orders, 40 items; MB/AMB- 16 orders, 23 MBs/AMBs; 2 Canceled( 1 voluntary, 1 bad batch of Batteries w/ Chargers) In 9 months of Flings I have already surpassed my purchases of almost 2yrs on that other DOD site where it's nearly impossible to get their mystery 'bag'... lol ~~Jinx

I love the Mystery Box! I love the comments people leave. But, with this box, it looks like someone knocked off 'ol Ike's General Store (Rite-aid) on Walton's Mountain! All this new fangled e-lectronic... Anyway, not much use for any of my MB. Still fun to get it, but, portable cd player, night lights?! Better luck to the rest of you (and on my next MB!)! Even my 70 year old mother has an Mp3 player! But I do listen to cd's, but not out walking or ..cough..jogging.

Sadly the lack of fundage prevented me from participating in this MB, but it looks like everyone is receiving some fun stuff! I would be really interested in trading for one of those portable CD players if anyone would like to part with theirs. Send me a PM and I can offer up a list of potential items that you might like or let me know what you might want for a fair trade. I will also be watching the Thing Fling trade thread to see if one appears there. Thanks! EDIT: I have already received PMs from three awesome Thing Flingers. So hopefully I can work out a nice trade with one of them and score myself a CD player. Funny that I do have a couple MP3 players, but I still find a weird sort of enjoyment in the idea of putting on a CD and reading in bed at night.
Anyway...many thanks for the responses!

Though I didn't participate this time around (still a bit burned by all the defective cell-phone lights!), I am actually in search of a portable speaker.
If anyone is interested in parting with the portable speakers, let me know... we can see if there is something we can work out.

Okay, for those that watched my 12345 MB ranting and thought I should say when I DID like something... here goes. I really DO like this box!
