Cost 24.95 + S/H heh, i got one of those too. pretty similar to yours. i recieved an rf modulator, one stroller light, an optical audio cord, 4 C batteries, phone cord, universal remote, mobile phone headset (sony), i think that is all. interesting, but weird stuff. it is too bad that ihtht does not have a forum. in regards to this site. i purchased this 8.95 one because it is fairly inexpensive. i purchased the 24.95 one from here a week ago. it just shipped. this site seems interesting so far. it is a bit weird that with the last box (and potentially this one) after the time ran out the brought it back up a few times randomly during the next few days. doesn't this cause a delay in shipping for those faithful flingers who immediately "get on the bus" as it were. the shipping route for my last fling was a bit weird. it went from kansas to NJ then to TX. So if they are headquartered in New Jersey, what is in Kansas. Do they have a big warehouse there? that does not seem economically viable. not complaining--just random thoughts-- would appreciate answers if anyone knows-

Or possibly maybe a little something EXTRA!!!!! tHANX, deathtaco Whoa, deathtaco, where ya been? Have you not bought anything since they started charging shipping? The reason it now says 4 bucks shipping is because you already made your first order of the day (the $6 shipping) so if you were NOW to order again it'd be $4 shipping. If you did buy a second order, you'd see that spot on the home page change to say "free shipping". My bad I wuz blabbin on the phone and skimmin thru the thread and misread a post I thought they had lowered the shipping on this mb So much crap goin on lately can't chew gum and walk strait any more Oh well hope everyone had a good laugh!!!

If you seriously want a couple of the cooldownz PM me your address. I have a couple left from the batch I bought. It isn't nearly as hot here in PA as it is in Texas! You won't even need to pay the postage if you promise to tell your friends a Yankee helped you out Honestly, these are a mom's best friend when it is hot out - the kids loved them!

Worth is valued in what good any of it is to you, unless you get lucky on eBay or a garage sale or something. I don't even bother looking on the net for prices of any of the stuff I get from any of these sites, most of it is depressing. You can always find MSRP's and some sites still sell them for those amounts but will YOU get someone to give you that much money for them? I always hope for stuff I can use, otherwise if fam or friends can use any of it, it becomes Christmas gift fillers, extra things for them to open. My other option has been to lump the cost and take them to work and see if anyone can use them and then just give it to them. Never know when that little bit of karma might come flying back at you (if anyone remembers my futile screaming about the XM speakers, the guy I gave them to recently sent me an email offering up his condo in Northern Michigan for a weekend plus it comes with free ski passes being on the ski area's property. ZOUNDS! I think I am MAKING OUT on that deal. Means nothing to him, probably a weekend they wouldn't be using it, but for me, that is a couple hundred dollars value when you tie up the passes and a place to stay for the weekend. And no, Royalty, you can't come with... ) As for what you got in that box, a cassette adapter means nothing to me, but my brother-in-law needed one, he was about to pick one up for 10 bucks and called me first cuz he knows i have all kinds of stuff like that. The stroller lights mean nothing to me but my friend that just became a papa now has all three of mine on little Alyssa's stroller and he says it lights up the sidewalk plain as day. Don't look for dollar values on any of this stuff and you will be a lot happier, look for the smiles it will bring to others or yourself and they will be invaluable!

Anyone ever buy from Stootsi?
They have all these different priced mystery boxes right now. From a $1 disappointing envelope to a $50 platinum box.

Under my flings you should see your promotions and it will tell you what the requirements for using the coupon are. I have another coupon for 5.00 that actually says that the item has to be 9.00 or more. I actually used my 3.00 reseller review rating coupon on this item as there was no minimum purchase on that coupon. Unfortunately shipping does not count towards the minimum purchase price. I hope that helped! BTW...for 8.59 I think it is well worth a fling. I'm considering flinging another, but have to be strong! No more flings until I have moved! My Flingdom for a Snickers Bar!

They have all these different priced mystery boxes right now. From a $1 disappointing envelope to a $50 platinum box. Stootsi was pretty good when they started. Once I even got a "Corbo approved" MB which is their equivalent of "Shagging." Their later MBs went kind of bad. I don't even know if they maintain their "Corbo approved" boxes since I think it's been a long time since they had an MB. Even their daily items have lost a lot of their lustre over the past year. Nevertheless, I bought a $10 "silver" MB and a random PC game MB. The games were 25 cents each, $5 flat shipping no matter how many you buy, and they promised to avoid duplicates. We'll see about that last statement! I ordered 40 games so it will cost me $15. I'm hoping there's a couple I like, a couple I can gift, and maybe sell the rest at a street sale for $1 each. Yea, there is nothing in my flings page, the help desk emailed me my coupon code and said it can be used for any order $10 and up. It doesn't say how much the coupon is for. Since this is only 8.59, i wonder if shipping would count as part of the $10. I have used coupons where the item price alone was not enough but with shipping the total was enough to qualify for the minimum purchase amount to use the coupon. That was a couple of months ago so it may have changed, but I haven't heard anything about changes. YMMV ~~Jinx "I reject your reality and substitute my own" - Adam Savage, Mythbusters Flings Flung: 40 total orders- Regular items- 22 Orders, 40 items; MB/AMB- 16 orders, 23 MBs/AMBs; 2 Canceled( 1 voluntary, 1 bad batch of Batteries w/ Chargers) In 9 months of Flings I have already surpassed my purchases of almost 2yrs on that other DOD site where it's nearly impossible to get their mystery 'bag'... lol ~~Jinx
