Boy, I would love to buy one of these mystery boxes, but right now I am not in a position to buy one. So, here we sit looking at the beautiful mystery box that I must let go...

today is MY birthday (July 24) and this is a birthday present to myself.

I know I can depend on TF to have something good in this box.

Hope to get shagged......maybe.Wink

Here's to being a single dad raising kids. My son is 12. Looks like there are a lot of us here, trying to stretch what we have for our kids' sake. Nice to know there are more around like me; I'm very much in the minority where I live.

I just wanted to share that I really have not had any problem getting rid of the working ones! I sold 2 to a door to door salesman for $1.50 each Shock he came hoping to get a sale from me but got sold to instead!! Was very funny! Laughing Laughing And also I have had 2 garage sales and put them out for .75 each sold 13 the first time and had some return customers at the second sale and actually unloaded another 28!!! So I have made just over $30.00 on those lights! ( also sold 3 poker watches for $5.00 each!) Smile not too bad!

AVA is a love, and Lucy is just so cute.... my Cody would love to meet her Wink

Happy happy birthday!

And yes, cheers to all the single parents - I'm a single mom of 3 girls, 11, 9 and 7, and just "SURVIVED" my 9 yo's bday party - complete with 13 pre-teen girls in the house! I'm just so grateful that the pouring rain held off until after the last one was picked up!

Hang in there guys - I think that we single mom's have it a bit easier, maybe more support, but hats off to all of you!

Oh, not off topic - wish I could afford this, but... can't Sad

Ok, it has been a couple of months for me since I ordered up a box. So I am ordering one for my birthday to have some fun with on the 30th (or after).Sometimes we need a good little surprise in life. Besides, she has yet to go shopping for me, and she can't since she can not drive. So I might as well make myself smile some.
I'll report back what I get.
Tom

BTW, angelsvintageattic, how are you doing? I have not heard from you since the end of March. I hope you are having a good year.

Shagged = you get extras thrown in your box and usually( but not always) a note from a member of the TF Court( Shaggy Fling, Lady Fling, etc). Check out the post from scaredwitless( next to last post on page 2 of this thread, or any of his posts) He has several helpful links to info in his signature. Good luck to all who went for this one. I couldn't afford it this time.

OK ...In for a shot...maybe this time I'll get shagged...hopefully hint hint the court will look kindly at my defending them on SD over last year hint hintDancing
65 Flings!!! and counting

In a small Texas town, a new bar/tavern started a building to open up their business. The local Baptist church started a campaign of petitions and prayers to block the bar from opening.

Work progressed, however right up till the week before opening, when a lightning strike hit the bar and it burned to the ground.

The church folks were rather smug in their outlook after that, till the bar owner sued the church on the grounds that the church was ultimately responsible for the demise of his building, either through direct or indirect actions or means. The church vehemently denied all responsibility or any connection to the building's demise in its reply to the court.

As the case made its way into court, the judge looked over the paperwork. At the hearing he commented, "I don't know how I'm going to decide this, but as it appears from the paperwork, we have a bar owner who believes in the power of prayer, and an entire church congregation that doesn't."

Every morning to cheer myself up, I create a computer file and name it Barack Obama. Then I move it into the recycling bin and hit empty the recycling bin...the computer always leaves his fate in my hands by asking.....
DO YOU REALLY WANT TO GET RID OF BARACK OBAMA?
I firmly click yes and smile

I went for this one, I have no idea why. Question
