How much is peace of mind worth? How about $6.00 shipping and handling for 3 magnetic indoor window alarms that also work with doors, sheds, garages and boats. Simple to install. When the magnetic contact of the alarm is broken, cover your ears - a screaming, ear piercing 120dB alarm sounds. It will alert you, scare your neighbors and cause any intruder to think twice before entering.

Retails between $3.99 - $6.00 each - At Thing Fling a 3 pack is free and you only pay the shipping and handling. These are brand new but the package may be worn.

Anyone had any experience with these? If they are good, would love to get quite a few of them for my mom's house.

ooo I wanted these but not THESE ones LOL.

I got these back in a MB a while back.. SO HAPPY about it.. But then the Catch..

The only way to turn them on & off is to take the battery cover off of it & then turn it off...

SO when you are using it for a cabinet use or something that you will be turning it off frequently (or even your door) you will not like them...

Now if you are going to use it for your window then I guess it is fine.

I honestly dont understand the shed deal either.. unless you put it on the inside of your door. but everytime YOU go in you have to remove the cover to turn it off lol.

Nope I dont like these ones... Not talking

If this item was used for a window wouldn't the burglar see it, break the window and crawl through it.
Better yet, break the window, reach through and turn it off.

I just tried ordering a 3 pack and it tried to hit my PayPal account for $100. instead of $6.00. I didn't confirm of course. Tried it a few times and the same thing.

breaking the window would kill the element of suprise though.

How long would the batteries last if you had it on most of the time for rarely opened doors such as a basement or shed? How do these mount, with double sided tape? And speaking of shed, since you have to enter it from the outside (just as a burglar would), how does that add any security?

I guess I should have read this thread before trying to buy. I tried twice to put them on my paypal account but the amount was $100 both times. Sad After that I decided to try to put them on my credit card but I was told I had ordered my maximum. Brick wall I sent a ticket so hopefully they'll straighten it out.

So I opened a ticket and the item changed over shortly afterward. Hopefully it'll be back sometime soon, my wife was really wanting some.

I just ordered 3 packs and got them for 4.00 (I ordered 2 Xantrex 1000 earlier). The only weird thing is my credit card shows the payment going to PayPal, and when I ordered the power inverters earlier they show up as ThingFling. Should I send a ticket on this or not worry about it? d'oh! I did get the order confirmation email from ThingFling.

Well hopefully the first thing you do, Or did was order another 3 X 3 for free (No S/H). Then worry about a help desk ticket.

Ordered my 18 total @ 12:01 thingfling time for 10 bucks. Very happy. I use them for them to baby proof. Poor kids ears Shock

Those poor kids' ears! LOL! I didn't realize I could order 3 more sets for free. That makes me madder than a one-legged waitress at the I-HOP! Oh well, live and learn!

Since these are WINDOW alarm & are for INDOOR use, I think they are talking about an actual shed, you know the type that is an actual building with windows...not a rubbermaid or similar shed.
