A small little mystery box on this lazy day. We will send you the Intec G7746 Glow Vertical Stand for the PS3 and 6 other gaming accessories. The G7746 Stand emits a slowly intermittent ice blue and red glow which can be turned on and off as desired. Powered via an integrated USB Power Cord that connects directly to a PS3 model. The other 6 gadgets will be either PSP, PS2, Game Boy Advance, X-Box, Game Cube or Game Boy Micro accessories.

Where'd the speaker wire go???
I've been waiting for a mystery box, so I could good it a try, but this AMB just doesn't have anything I'll need. The only two game systems I have, are the Wii and the DS Lite, neither of which are listed. Next time I guess.
Though I'm a little irked the speaker wire went away. I just finished looking around for other prices, or to see if there's a way to connect them without the banana clips, and I come back to this AMB. Oh well.

I agree, I went to purchase it to help along the coming of the MB, but it was gone. I was kind of upset after convincing myself I needed REALLY expensive speaker wire. Maybe again later today TF? Oh well, In for an AMB!!!

Thingfling! You read my mind, game console accessories! Or was it you dear dear LadyFling who knows me so well? Well! This is rather not a good time for me to be spending, I finally just found a Wii, which is great. But has left me broke, and fretting the CC bill. But it's great, I am having a trippy nostalgic adventure with Mario Galaxy as of late. .. Really mainly got the Wii though to try to find some more stuff me and the niece could enjoy doing together. Anyway! So the funny thing is my other console is a PS3, which already has a nice illuminated vertical stand with built in hub.. so really don't need the main item, BUT! I am feeling a might bit lucky on the extras! I've been trying to trick out the Wii with all that I'll need! C'mon lucky vid game AMB roll, I need a couple of gamecube controllers! Well this is cool, odds are what I can't use I can give to the niece and/or other friends.. so long as it isn't paddles for an old Atari 2600, which is primo vintage don't get me wrong, but well.. okay okay I lie, that would actually be kinda cool. G'luck to ya all! Hey fling crew, g'night!

BTW anyone interested in the main item, the illuminated vertical stand, read the reviews over on: amazon. Average 4 star reviews, looks nice. Only downside is it will block opening the memory card reader flap on the PS3 models with the card reader built in, it will sit those models fine just blocks the flap from opening.. but lets face it, how many of you all ever use that memory card bay all that often anyway? Looks like TF's price is a bit better than amazons price for JUST the stand.

Are the mystery items the same in all the boxes? I Flung 3 hoping for an assortment of things we could use. It would be great if the extra items were different in all the boxes. If not, my son has enough friends to share the wealth.
Oh, and if anyone is taking notes. We have Xbox, Game Cube and all the Game Boys.

That's the whole point of the AMB, they letcha know some things you'll get at the very least and leave up to you to decide whether to fling. Genius, no?

TF is charging $15.99 and including things that you might not be able to use in your PS3. If you only want the base, go to AMAZON and search for Intec G7746. From the product page click on USED and NEW, you will find the NEW item listed for $6.88 plus $4.66 for shipping. Total $11.54.

Yeah obviously you don't know what they'll be and very well might not be able to use any of them, but that's the mystery box part, it's a gamble. You might also do very nice indeed. And those who don't should check out our trading thread here in the Everything Else forum, we all very well could trade for whar we actually need.

I just bought my Wii a couple of wiiks ago. I am still working to outfit the thing, although I have a DS Lite, also. Had this been a nintendo AMB, ticket would have been punched for 3 of them! Maybe next time.

I just meant that in the nicest way. I know there is most likely mystery items in the boxes, but I would have no use for 75-90% of the items in the box. Why am I going to pay $10-30 for a chance at a good mystery item(s)? Don't get me wrong, I usually always buy mystery boxes, but I am going to pass on this one. Besides, I saving my money for the iPhone tomorrow and that is definitely not a mystery.

Exactly what is the point of the vertical stand? I have a PS3 and it has rubber feet to stand up on its side just fine by itself... seems to me that the only purpose of this is to add some colorful lights to it and it blocks one of my TWO USB posts to power it. I have a PSP too, but it isn't worth it if I can't guarantee the accessory types.
Sorry, TF, but I'll pass.

Sorry, TF, but I'll pass. The stand is not to give the ps3 rubber feet, after all it has those as you say. But it is to increase the stability of the ps3 when in vertical position. It has a wider base area, and adds weight to the base of the PS3. Basically making it much harder to accidentally tip the PS3 over. By the way these kinda bases are not a PS3 centric concept, any console that has a intended vertical position you'll find such base accessories made for them. Heck the Wii comes with one such in the box. but obviously if you keep your ps3 in the horizontal position, or up against a wall, or just have no fear of it inadvertently being knocked over, then yeah, you don't need this.
