He is a mathematician (he taught at Harvard) with a series of stunning albums of songs. Many of the tunes are from classical or popular music and the words are brilliant, with a lot of social satire, but some are just whimsical. Who could forget "The Elements", in which he sings, from memory in front of an audience, a musical recitation of all of the elements known to that point? (Well, I forgot the elements, but remembered the song). Then there is "Pollution" and there is the song about Werner von Braun (wicked). And many, many more. Terrific listening!
