We had a bit of a scare this weekend, but we just got back from the obstetrician this afternoon, and there's a healthy 8 week old baby in there with "a strong heartbeat" (162 bpm)! Woohoo! They even gave us pictures and a DVD to prove it! This will be our first!

CongratsApplause Applause You are now entering the most incredible love fest of your life. I am so amazed at how much I actually love my son. The first day I had to go back to work, my heart actually ached for him. And the joy keeps coming. The best statement I got was this: " The diference between a good parent and a bad parent, is the good parent doesn't kill the kid". Great blessings on you and yours!!!Dancing

Congratulations on your life changing event! Soon you'll get to experience the pleasure of hearing your own child's laughter. One of the greatest feelings in the world.

If it's a boy, are you going to name him Daniel? Wink

The pictures aren't much to speak of, but we must have watched the 2 minute DVD video about a million times yesterday! Very Happy
And I think I'd have to classify it as more like an AMB... Laughing

Hey, I seem to have missed a lot here, and this is the BEST. Congratulations on the impending AMB (wait till you get the shipping charges on this one)Shock .
OK whats wrong with Daniel? I have been living with that for, well, lets just say a LONG time eh. And, my daughter named our last (& final) grandchild Danielle, see, it also works with the female of the species.
We pray for the baby's and mothers health through this fun, scary, and sometimes traumatic time. Y00 H00, the best to your family from ours...

It's a reference to my username... For lack of a better word, Daniel was the "son" of Dream of the Endless...
There's certainly nothing wrong with the name! I just don't think my wife would go for naming our child after a comic book character.. Wink

Scheduled delivery is February 15th, but you know how FedEx is, so there's no telling... Razz
