I follow TF quite often and never bite. I have talked myself out of the smaller MB but I couldn't pass on this one! I figure they won't burn the loyal customers who they rely on for most of their business, so I joined the bandwagon. Now I hope it is worth it... Cool

I didn't see if anyone mentioned this, but could it be the Telephoto Zoom G VR Nikkor Lens (18-200mm, F/3.5-5.6) their advertising in other hot deals on the front page? Shhh Shhh

There has been some precedence with the touch screen lcd remote and noise cancelling headphones in other mystery boxes.

God, I hope NOT! I don't have a Nikon SLR camera to put one on.

After thinking about it over the weekend I decided to fling it. This will ease the stress on my brain, at least until I get the box. =] Happy Flinging everyone

PS Don't hurt yourself cause I sure did after debating to buy it. (Not Physically of course) Smile

I've really never gotten anything awful from TF. Some of it might be worthless, but there is a market for everything. Even those cell phone lights; I must have gotten 100 of them. I sold them in batches on ebay and at least 25 or so at the flea market for a buck each. Not bad considering I got them in a $9.99 MB and got $3.33 back as a coupon.

I do expect something much better in this one and not repeats from past bags. At this price point, these should be at least some high end, unmarketed items that just landed on the TF loading dock.

We shall see. . .

Unfortunately for those with visions of digital cameras and large chargers (I think they had a problem with those once, perhaps they finally found the lost shipment?) it appears that the content-related ads are picking up what is listed in past flings, a charger, a couple small digital cameras, earlier we were seeing ads with the word Solar in them that seemed to be picking up on the solar frog. I think the content related ads are not where to look for hints. Seeing as I have a Canon dSLR, I certainly hope it is not a Nikkor lens unless it comes with proper adapters, however, seeing the prices listed for that lens, I think it may well be disqualified from this box.

Can't wait to see what we all get, however. I have high hopes for this box, whatever it may bring, I can only assume Ye Olde High Muckety-Mucks don't look forward to killing their forum server with a re-run of the 'Infamous' boxes again, and as has been witnessed in this thread, we Flingers don't seem to suffer from ADD or short attention spans when it comes to the MB's.

Seems the Royalty DID take a non-internet enabled vacation as I popped on here every once in awhile over the weekend and never saw nary a Shaggy or Queen (or anyone else) unless they have finally figured out to view the forums surreptitiously under assumed net identities.

And I am completely underwhelmed by the amount of guesses as to the contents, surely we all have something we would wish to see (within reason, of course) included???

Uh oh. I flung a mb the other day and just realized that I will be gone camping this upcoming weekend. This ususally isn't a problem but means that my husband will be the only one here to get the package if it comes this weekend. Let's just say he is less intrigued by mb's than myself and I don't always proclaim loudly when I purchase one. The cat might be out of the bag. Laughing d'oh! Good luck to everyone that took the plunge!

I bit. This will be my first MB so I decided to make it a big one. heh.

I am just hoping for some decent things. I could use hard drives, usb replicators, and other odds and ends. It just felt right to order it for some reason. My friends think I am idiot for doing so. Hopefully I can prove them wrong.

I guess it is all in the way you look at it. Yep, it's a lot of money. But I can't fill my truck for that much anymore. What the heck. I'm in for one.

Brick wall My husband is going to kill me for this. The dogs are going to be eating table scraps...but, it's the last minute and I am just too curious to miss out. I'm flinging one.

Perhaps it will be an explosion of good stuff, and maybe I'll even get shagged.

Good luck to all!

(It has to be something nice, doesn't it? Otherwise why would the royal court limit us to only two sales per flinger? If you think about it, you really do know the answer to that question - which lends credence to the fact that it really is going to be something nice.)

Pardon me for my forum illiteracy, I just noticed that it no longer shows who else is browsing the forum!! Or is this a function (or lack thereof) of Firefox 3? Does anyone see who else is browsing the thread currently? Hmm...

Good possibilities listed lately... Early model GPS Pray - Garmin trying to clear out it's refurb stock, they could eaisly accommodate us all (I'm personally hoping if it goes GPS, it's Garmin as I have an older one (B&W screen) and have invested pretty heavily in their map CD's). Digital picture frame Pray - see lots of those out there with dropping price points. And of course, Linksys and Philips seem to be working with TF a bit lately to clear out their stockrooms - all kind of goodies to be had there.
