Flung me one. Now the wait starts. I think I might have a problem because I can't seem to resist. I wonder if there is 12 step program for flingers yet? Laughing

Sorry - after looking at the Poker Watches, Cell Phone Flashlights... and the kiss-and-make-up god awful musical greeting cards that are sitting in a pile in the basement, I'm afraid that what Thing Fling considers "high end items" and what I consider something of value are two entirely different things. Rolling Eyes No way I can risk $123.45 on this!

Have a safe and happy 4th everyone.

I imagine the infamous 9.99 MB will take a lot of healing, but I'm confident this one will be nothing like those. Shame on you Just guessing here, but I'm pretty sure TF learned something with that one. Embarassed I am really itching to see what's in THIS MB--it's true... Question

All the same, it's way too steep for me to not know what I'm buyin'. Good luck to everyone who gets in on this!

...and I hope you all have a safe and restful 4th!

I really want to pull the trigger on this one - especially after the last two MB (the last $31.99 which was awesome and the last $10 - of which I ordered three - which was great & fun) but I just can't sleep on the couch that many nights, because that is where the wife would put me until it was delivered and she realized it was a decent deal for the money, which I am sure it is . . . but in the too much info file I just now got BACK from off the couch and I don't want to go back . . . yeah, I know, I'm whipped, but she's the bomb, so I kinda just go with the flow . . . unfortunately, this would get me the couch for sure, maybe a tent. So, sorry, I'm sitting this one out but I wish all those order one the happiest of returns.

And a Happy 4th!

I still haven't decided if I will do it or not. All the is running through my head is "360? PS3? LCD? 1080p?" Of course I am sure my thoughts are a little to good to be true... LOL, but I can still dream.

Well, this is my first post since joining in March & this is my 6th fling I've flung. I bit on 3 of the last $10 MB's & was very satisfied with the contents. So I am in for the $123.45 MB. Now for the anticipation.... Good luck to all of us.

Oh, why not, right? Who knows? Maybe I can score a shag. I need something fun. I just had back surgery 2 weeks ago and I am home for another month recovering. I am not the kind of person who can sit around and do nothing. So, it is hard as you know what.

Somewhat afraid of being shot... I think I'm going to go for it though. Like everyone else, I've been satisfied for the most part. Lost money on the $10 ones (not worth it to me) but actually made money on ebay with the $31.99 mystery boxes. I'm just afraid of more cables... unless this is something that utilizes all those damn cables... I don't know. We're talking about a few days of work here.

I I too ask that question...I keep asking The Big Cheese(s) at TF for some sort of book or CD that will help those of us addicted to Thing Fling . I need specific help for my Mystery Box addiction. ( It'd probally take a team of professionals to make me stop) What am I saying I'LL NEVER STOP!! I LOVE IT!!

I had bought 4 to 5 MBs and though my experience is OK, I do not want to take a risk of spending $123... and get similar or same things that I have got earlier. Pass this one.Whistle

OH MY GOSH! Thanks so much for pointing that out -- I had gone to the product page and thought, "Gee, what a waste of money." But now after reading all those reviews, how freaking hilarious! Did you see that 26% of customers who view that page buy a cable for a $1.79? Wonder if I could sell it on eBay for $700? Laughing

Okay, i see what is happening, looked at page source and saw that the HTML for the "Past Flings" is what is being picked up on by the Content Related and Google ads - Solar frog and Charger in Past flings is reflected in the ads. So, no hints there.

I think we all need to get over the fact that it is an expensive box, we all know we will either Fling or we won't, those comments are getting tired.

Let's get to GUESSING!!! Try to keep it reasonable, there won't be any new cars or LCD TV's (of any respectable size) in these boxes.

Phillips can't have run out of stuff to flog, and Linksys most assuredly has items from yore coming out the wazoo, so I peg those brands in the 'high end items' lists. They will more than likely sell a good many of these as we loyal (to be read: addicted) Flingers break open the porcelain piggys to count out our thousands of pennies, so I doubt we will see "brand name" MP3 players, even roxorz'd ones, same for latest gen video gaming kit.

All you dollar store maniacs... what have you seen lately that would be around 30 buckaroos that they could pile into these? Assuming they will have 2 or more "Brand new retailed packaged high end items" in each box hence the plural in the description, 2-5 items totaling 123.45 is our goal to decipher. I seriously doubt we will see hints from the Kingdom, we have to work this out ourselves and aside from the glare of the rockets red bursting thingies, we only have the glare of our computer screens to face this weekend, GET TO WORK, me little Flingers!!!

Troll the Philips Outlet site... many an item that would be in new packaging.

I like the looks of the 7" portable DVD player, could see that nestled in a large cardboard former home of laundry detergent box.

"1,2,3,4 what are we fighting for."

Yet the price is 123.45. Yes, "1,2,3,4,5 what are we fighting for to stay alive" would not have done Country Joe proud in trying to capture the essence of his fabled tune, but might it be a hint as to the quantity of 'Brand new' items in the box? 4 items, roughly 30 buckaroonies apiece??? Gah, I am going to bed, this makes my brain hurt...

Hey everyone!

Brand NEW Flinger... Was it a good idea for me to try the Mystery box thingy? I figured I'd try something big as my first time... let's see what happens?
