No matter what type of entertainment you’re into, the VS3151 is an excellent and affordable all-around system. Connect the VS3151 to a 5.1 sound card to let six speakers bathe you in vivid and panoramic sound, pulling you directly into the action. The center channel reproduces lifelike dialogue while four satellites ensure you’ll hear the enemy creep up from all sides. The VS3151 also offers the unique option of turning any stereo sound into a 6-speaker experience. Plus, its flat panel design with sophisticated metallic feel and brushed aluminum finish means the VS3151 will look great next to your flat panel monitor or anywhere in your home. Hey, but don't take our word for it. Check out the 3DGame Man on Youtube. Click here.

Speakers are 5W per channel. Sub is 20W, and Centre speaker is 10W.
I have Altec Lansing speakers hooked up to the computer, dvd player, and satellite radio in the bedroom, and I love them. Altec Lansing make great speakers, and you certainly get plenty of value for money with these.
The price is excellent for these. If I didn't have another set of AL speakers already, I'd buy them in a flash.
Some people might complain that they are a little underpowered, but for gaming, and in a small bedroom like we have, they would be ideal.

$45.95 including shipping is a pretty good price. Amazon's best buy is $49.99 but with a whopping $21.00 shipping for a total of $70.99. Still, not something I really need.

What happened to the PayPal option. I went to buy a set, but PayPal is no longer an option. Too bad. I would have liked to get these.

They said they were having problems with it. It was charging customers $100 per item apparently. I thought they said they fixed it though...

Turns out you can still use PayPal, as long as you don't mind it coming out of your bank account.

Does anyone know where I can find the coupon(s) credited to my account? I just got my first Fling, and the note included stated I was given a $3 coupon for a future purchase, and the code would be under "My Flings". I just checked, and nothing is there, except for the orders I placed. No coupon code. Any info would be appreciated.

These would be great speakers for a small room. But for my home theatre, I "need more wattage in my cottage"......like 100W a channel and a subwoofer that makes my wife's dishes rattle in the cupboards!

Anyone tried these yet? I bought 1, but I don't want to open it yet because I'm moving in a couple of weeks. I figure I'll hook them up in my bedroom once I get moved Smile

I tried hooking these up for my bedroom. Looks like all I can get out of the RCA jack output straight from my DVD player to this system is 2.1 sound. Nothing from my center or rear speakers at that point.
Hopefully I am doing something wrong here.
anyone?d'oh!

Adjust the control module to matrix 5.1 from stereo. Read the manual.
for some reason, I cannot log onto the site using IE 7
Had to use firefox. Has happened this way before too.
Logon to other sites using IE 7 is ok, just this site.
Anybody else have same problem?

Also, user avatars are not shown in IE7, just small red x.
Avatars are there in firefox though.
Anybody know what setting I have messed up in IE 7 ?

of course, that was the first thing I tried. Did not work. the manual (quick hook-up guide) seems to show that the 5.1 only works with a PC card. I was wondering if there was a way around it.
