If it's supposed to be a mystery, I wouldn't count on the photo being of the actual item ....

You can click on the picture to make it larger. The first box has Philips headphones in it. However, they look different than the second picture of headphones, and those have the name blurred out as well, so it makes me think that either

a) The second pair would be the one we'd get

or

b) Neither is the actual item, but a representation of that item.

Either way, I don't really need these since I just bought some earbuds from woot the other day. I've never been a fan of the big chunky headphones.

If its the set on the main page I just got these in one of their last mystery boxes (10 or 30 dollar). I haven't plugged them in and listened to them yet but they look pretty sturdy. They include a hard case that is probably a foot in diameter. I guess they're imitation bose headphones made by phillips, but do they have to be so monstrous?

If these are the phillips headphones we got in the mystery box I have 2 things to say:

1: Great product. I have been using mine religiously

2: Anyone who got them in the MB knows my second point which is about price.

If you want to know the exact model, just google the 3 phrases in bold at the bottom. You get 2 results and one is Thingfling. Oh, and the other is being sold for about $85.00 in most places. I think we found our culprit.

P.S. Both pictures are of the actual product as far as I can tell.

Such the mystery Shame on you
Got a set of these in a mystery box just last week. The whole box was $10 + shipping. All together we figured out the retail value of the items in it should rang around $190-200.
Gotta love those mystery boxes! Exclamation

Uhm, I would count on it being phillips, TF gets TONS of stuff (cables for cable boxes in particular) from phillips, and many other little devices. I bet they have a deal with TF where TF gets a good deal if they buy all pieces. I'd put money on them being phillips. Actually, I probably will put money on it and buy some now! Smile

What is there to guess about??? If you click the image with the headphones in the box, SOMEONE forgot to "smudge" the name on the headphones Bad Grin Bad Grin Bad Grin
It says PHILIPS

(now watch them (TF) edit their pic Laughing so if at some point the picture in this post doesnt have the brand name on it, then the pic has been edited/mistake corrected)

First Post...

Joined a few weeks ago for the free velcro straps and now made my first buy... still on the fence about getting in on some of the MBs. I guess I am slowly getting my feet wet here at TF.
