My apologies if this is not allowed as this is the very first time I have started a topic here at TF forums.

I asked this question in one of the threads but I think its getting lost in the 14+ pages of posts.

Does anyone who got the shower radio know how to adjust the clock on it to display AM/PM time instead of military 24hr time? The directions that came with it doesn't say anything about that.

thanks!!!!

The secret is to shower in the morning so the military time does not come into play!

Are we sure this this IS a shower radio? It doesn't look waterproof!

I agree that it doesn't look waterproof. When I unscrewed the battery cover, I didn't see any rubber seals at all. But I've showered with it several times now and it still works fine. The instructions mention it displays AM/PM but when you set the time, it goes pass 12 and onto 13. Very frustrating.

I am coming to beleive that the fact that you can not set it to display 12 hour time is why it was on thing fling

I have mine in the bathroom, hanging from the door handle. I'm afraid to put it in the shower. There was a gasket around the battery compartment, but it was folded over and not in good shape. Also, I see large seams in the casing. I think I'll keep it out of the water...lol. It's loud enough to hear from outside the shower. Oh, and I like the military time... after 17 years in the military, I've grown rather fond of it...lol.

No maker or model number anywhere that I could see. the instructions, as they are, say it is a 12 hour clock and the PM will be displayed. But I can find how to set it. It also appears to have an alarm on it too. Clueless on how to set it. Maybe there is something in the battery compartment. It looks water resistant, not water proof. I surfed looking for it, and I didn't see it any where. I even looked in promotional gifts. Oh well, it is loud and I work with military time, so no biggie for me.Confused

I hope it has an alarm because I have almost died 6 times this year so far starting to fall asleep while showering. This could be a lifesaver and maybe they could use one of the ex-baywatch people as a spokesperson.Laughing
