Hello all-- It's been a long busy couple of weeks for me, and on top of that my DSL went out sometime last week and wasn't restored until earlier this week. I've spent the last couple days getting reacquainted with my old friend, the internet. <3 internet. Ahem--so somewhere in that madness, I received my $31.99 Mystery box (about a couple weeks ago). It had been the first time I had allowed myself to succumb to the MB demon in a while--but they asked when they sold that box, do you feel lucky? And I surely did, so I snatched it up. So.. I got shagged. By LadyFling no less. Lucky indeed. So here it is: The picture is missing the Phillips headphones, those got snatched up by my sister almost instantly. Sorry the picture is a little blurry--that is the linksys wireless print server sitting beneath the linksys PCMCIA card. That's a 100 pack of 8x DVD-Rs, it is hard to tell from the label at the top what brand it is, and I won't know for sure what it is exactly till I open it up and scan the media code, but I have high hopes it is what I recall as the only time I've seen TF sell DVD-Rs... AND yes, up there in the front right are in fact dog toys and doggy treats. Absolutely amazing. Thank you LadyFling. You are absolutely brilliant as ever, and these next photos are for you-- Socks particularly enjoys his football: He literally learned how to play fetch with that football. Thank you, you single handedlly gave us a thrilling moment. With more to come, it is also his favorite for the chase. Socks took great pause to inspect his dancing doggie treats; let there be snacks for Socks: and it was good: Thingfling gives me my crack in the form of mystery boxes. and they gave my Socks some dancing doggie crack. They really DO make him dance. It looks something like this: So yes, LadyFling, I enjoyed my extras, and socks did his. Yes yes. I would have to say this was a perfect box, it came on a Friday, and brightened the entire weekend. It remains true, get a ladyfling box and there's nothing left to do after rummaging through it but to go outside and take a long drag off a smoke. PS, LadyFling I got your other note you put in with my $3.33 chargers order too, and to answer your question: burgundy, cafe con leche, and "A Clean, Well-Lighted Place". Oh, and I love you too. What? I'm dreaming?.. again? Oh. Well anyway... Socks loves you too.

Congrats Scared and Congrats to Socks too. I agree with marybeth.. Socks is really cute. Thank you kindly you lovely folks you--I don't think it needs to be said really, but ladyfling went above and beyond on this box. As was the case with Ava's recent shag, I mean she targetted my new puppy. I think you know MAYBE they have these little dog toys laying around the warehouse in a corner or something, it's possible with all the wholesale they must do. But the treats? Ava got cat treats for her Lucy and Ethel and I got some awesome (so say Socks) dog treats, I find it hard to believe they'd just have this stuff laying around... (I guess we'll find out if Jinx's inevitable future shag has snack food in it. Dead mice?) Thank you again LadyFling, and thingfling, you absolutely saved the day(weekend really) from pure melancholy. (although I say this two weeks late, but still true!) By the way, Sock's powers of cuteness are literally beyond explanation. I seriously get little 5 year old girls that I don't even know or know how they heard about Socks who knock on my door occasionally wanting to play with him. (I usually let them... unless that is they're that bad egg seedy underbelly thug looking type of 5 year old little girl. I don't need my guy falling in with the wrong crowd!)

I agree The Lady has certainly gone way avbove and beyond lately. I appreciate the thoughts for my Lillith but unfortunately due to my med condition I could no longer properly care for her physically or financially so I had to find her a new home . But she is now in a wildlife preserve and due to her social temperment part of their educational division. Gets to visit and be visited by school children . Also has a new mate But she would turn her nose up at dead food anyway and I don't see the Lady or anyone else going thru the ordeal of shipping live ~~Jinx "I reject your reality and substitute my own" - Adam Savage, Mythbusters Flings Flung: 40 total orders- Regular items- 22 Orders, 40 items; MB/AMB- 16 orders, 23 MBs/AMBs; 2 Canceled( 1 voluntary, 1 bad batch of Batteries w/ Chargers) In 9 months of Flings I have already surpassed my purchases of almost 2yrs on that other DOD site where it's nearly impossible to get their mystery 'bag'... lol ~~Jinx

They got a big warehouse, maybe there's a few mice running around too. It sounds like your lilith got a pretty good gig. I mean so long as she can stomach all the school children! But hey if she ever gets hungry...

Congratulations on the shagging for both you and your furry family member. There is always something special about a shagging when it comes to a special fuzzy lil family member who has adopted your family as their own.

I have that same situation with Sammy. Any toy he gets that has some type of noise maker inside it, he goes insane and shreads it until he gets it out of there. Then I guess he feels his work is done so he strolls away knowing that the item is diffused and won't explode so he can rest comfortably. That is one determined bomb diffusing pup or at least he thinks he is so I figure why ruin his dreams of glory.

oooooooooohhhhhhhhhh!!!! Look at OUR little Socks...ThingFling Puppy!! He's too adorable! I'd say he's getting big..but..well..he's not! Although..still manly I see! If he doesn't grow into it soon..you might have to rename him tripod-puppy...well..actually..ThingFling Puppy might still work! I love the pic of him standing up on his hind legs! Too cute! Does he always do that? I see he's loving his football! Lucy loves her's too..maybe the two of them should get together for a game..of course Lucy would pummel Socks..but..they'd have fun..well..Lucy would have fun! Great shagging!!!!! Nothing like a LadyShag to make the day a great one! Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!! BTW...I've missed you around here...glad to see ya back!

Oh yes he stands on his hind-legs like a pro. Particularly if he wants something. Still battling the whole house training thing, but it isn't as bad as it used to be.. but then again he is a smart doggy, he's a little better at keeping it off the beaten path too. Actually I've noticed he's begun having his "accidents" more often on the tile in the bathroom. Smarty pants, too bad he can't reach the toilet. But we're making progress. He actually HAS grown, no one else believes me, but I can tell. He's not quite shoulder sitting size as he was originally. When I weighed him when I first got him he was about 2 pound 4 ounces (or something around that). He is now 3 pounds and some change. I can tell his fur is a bit coarser than it was to begun with as well. And he's really ingrained himself perfectly around here. A little crazy, but that's what makes him a perfect match.

Congrats on the shag. I agree that Socks is too cute, and so tiny!!! He's smaller than my dogs' toys! "Well, I've wrestled with reality for 35 years, doctor, and I'm happy to state I finally won out over it." ~~Elwood P. Dowd~~ ~(James Stewart) in Harvey~

Good for you on the shag. My dog danced the same way as a puppy, as in my avatar! Hope everyone had a fun 4th.
