This switch has everything you need to control two computers from one keyboard, mouse and monitor. No more cables to buy (2 approx. 6ft cables attached), no software to run. Simply plug and play. Convenient built in cables for user friendly saves desktop space, energy and hardware cost. Bulk packaged, no instructions. Similar switches sell for $39.99 plus shipping. THING FLING's price is $8.99 plus shipping. Hey, how many of you know KVM meant "Keyboard, Video + Mouse".

Unfortunately, I lost track of time and missed getting a shipping discount by two minutes. Oh, well. "A boat's a boat, but the mystery box could be anything. It could even be a boat! Guess I will take the plunge for the few bucks it costs. I can always pawn it off on my brother since he loves playing with this type of stuff in his office anyway. I can always throw it at the zombies when Z-Day comes!

I could have used one of these for the past two weeks!! I just bought a new keyboard today so now I have one for each of my comps. I am in for one anyway. I'm sure I'll use it when working on someones computer.

Darn. I've been waiting for months for one of these to show and I finally broke down Monday and ordered one from somewhere else.

Besides, there's no way a DVI KVM switch would be selling here new at this price. I was waiting for one of these to show up here to throw into my repair kit. I have 2 at home and both are in use, one a 4 port, both different brands.

Talk about timing! I finally finished a major overhaul of the switch room in the house. I had needed to run a ton of new cat5 to add additional servers and the AR Media Bridge from a prior Fling. Its a decent sized room, but with all of the equipment, it's always nice to maximize space. This KVM will definitely help to clean up a bit. Thanks TF!

Does this work with computers that need USB rather than PS2? I see it has the USB connection. I can use a PS2 console, but most of the computers I work on at work have only USB ports. Anyone?

Mine's a Gemini, also. Not only that, my monitors blank out if I try to set 1280x1024 or higher. Has anyone found a manual or specs for this unit?

No love here, either. All I have plugged into it is the USB port -- keyboard and mouse (daisy chained into the keyboard) both work on Computer B port (this was the first one attached), but no lights come on the switcher and nothing happens when I try to switch. Have not tried disconnecting Computer B yet as it is in the back of the desktop (which is why I bought this thing). Very disappointed if this does not work with JUST USB. Tiger Direct has a USB 2PC 7 hub switcher up for under $10, today ... maybe THAT is what I should have gotten. And for anyone else watching, the video IS just VGA. No DVI.
