Somewhat OT, but . . .
I needed some work done on my laptop, and a pal who fixes them as a side-line did it for free - FREE! - because I gave him a box of assorted fling things that I wouldn't be using.
Just odds and ends that I had dumped into a box to see if he wanted them - and that saved me mega-bucks.
So, I'm eager to see what is in the trio of $10 boxes, maybe I can get him to add more memory - or fix the old scanner - or . . . FLINGING with wild abandon since 12/2006 - Good things come to those who FLING !

I'm very tempted with this $19.99 MB as well... That's exactly what I got. I couldn't figure out if that radio was a shower radio (no documentation stating it is). I'm just afraid to get it wet if it wasn't meant to get wet. Very, very satisfied with the items I received. Thanks so much TF! You did good at the $10 price (to get me to pull the trigger and buy it) and then even better at the items you sent. n00b here. got my first flung things today got the yahoo phone and an LED usb cable. i'm very happy, as I avoided the forums so that I wouldn't get spoiler'd - and really had no idea of what I might be getting. I was setting myself up to expect a box of weird connectors and various other worthless gadgets, but luckily both of these things were something that I can use. If there is another $10 MB I might have to go ahead and get two or three next time, as I see that I did miss out on some other potential goodies by only getting one this time. Also, I think I'm gonna have to read around here a bit... gotta find out what this shagging thing is all about. Man... I could totally get hooked on this.

I ordered 3, 12 lb ship weight, due tomorrow. From what others have posted, I should get good use out of most of this fling. I really hope I get a USB cable, as I got the USB switches and am short a couple cables. Sounds like no shag here, but it should be a good friday.

There was a "You Owe Me One" letter in the box from the King of Fling and Royal Court. This was a 3 MB that weighed 13lbs.

MusicMama wrote:-- The Linksys phone - it says it can be used with a regular phone line so daughter will get her own (non-cell) phone for home use. Better known as "to answer the house line when nobody else is home" . Update - daughter is very happy with her phone. It has lots of "toys" (a ringer that plays Scooby-Doo, Where are You and something that sounds like Pirates of the Caribbean plus more tunes), an alarm, and -- best of all -- it plugs into the wall as well as your PC. I would definitely have paid more $$ for this in the store (well, I'm cheap so she wouldn't have gotten such a gadgetized phone) so, despite the useless headset, I'm happy and hubby isn't sending me back to the ditch. Now if I could just get "shagged", I might pass along the goodness to hubby.

I think someone didn't leave the phone on charge for the recommended 16 hours charge before the first use. I plugged mine in at 2pm yesterday, and I've been fighting the urge to go in there and play with it until it gets its first "good" charge. *giddy*

The cool part is that I got a Citi set in my last order too! Now I lucked out and got two!! Thanks!

It definitely worked when I called the house late in the day (she didn't answer her cell, so I called the house line) and she took her time demonstrating the fun stuff last night. Seemed to work just fine.

I got the "usual" 3 MB bags, but unfortunately FedEx Home did the usual "Let's see how much crushing a box can take before we fling (hey, it does say "fling" on the box!) this thing (it says "thing" too!) on someone's porch and drive away!" routine on the shipment. In the process, they crushed the Skpye USB phone (which is no big loss to me since I do not use Skype).
Also, I guess not everyone is getting the shower radio. I was kinda looking forward to it, since I would never admit to buying one, but if it had "mysteriously" had shown up....it was going in!
Thanks again. All in all, a GREAT fling (minus FedEx's involvement) and I shall fling again!

I received the following:
Linksys AS2TNC (antenna extender thing for Linksys routers) Linksys CIT310 (dual mode cordless phone for Yahoo Messenger) Auvi PCIP06 ( USB phone designed for Skype) Gemini USB notebook light And last the set of 4 Emerson flashlights.
Not bad, I'll probally grab another MB soon! I received mine today and it was exactly like yours. I thought it was pretty decent.

I ordered 3 and got the same as everyone else. Even though I won't use most of the items, it was still well worth the money. Thanks Flingthing!

Has anyone tried out the Linksys / Yahoo phone without a PC? (Just plug it into the phone line & try to make calls?) Just wondered if it would just work as a standard phone without having to install the software, etc.
Thanks!
