Sounds like you look like you have been beat with an ugly stick...but that will go away, and UGLY beats the big C any day. I am soooo glad all is working out well...well sort of working out...I seem to remember that zinc helps with taste...check with kool aid tyler, he's the closest thing we flingers have to a staff physician. I can totally relate to the swollen face, I had P I so bad once that one eye was swollen shut and I could see my lips without trying with the other. Feel better soon! Greek

Hope everyone has a great weekend!! LOL at the first part of your message. Sounds like a nice circular problem there. I got the same stuff in my MB except no tools (I got my apology tools a bit ago in another package) The active noise cancelling headphones are quite nice, though I already had too many headphones thanks to my Woot! habbit. They also shipped my leather portfolio things that I ordered with this MB too. When I first lifted the box up, I thought I was in for a shagging, but a third of the weight was the portfolios and another third of the weight was filled with lots and lots of shredded newspaper (which made a mess even though I was carefully transferring the paper to an empty box) Edit: Forgot to say that I am very satisfied with this box! Now I just have to figure out the how to setup the storm glass thingie

Just adding my voice here. I got what everyone else got, minus the citi bit set (which I got in another box). Getting the headphones is great because I bought a different, low-prestige brand pair from an auto store about a month ago. They were $10 on clearance, and they were great... until the hinge at the top broke. Why do I need a plastic hinge on the top of my headphones? Apparently, so it can break.
I fixed it by drilling 3 small holes in the top and reconnecting it with a large metal twist-tie, but now they are not very comfortable. The new (name brand!) headphones I got in my mystery box basically make the rest of the box worth it. I can't wait to test them out. So far, they are quite comfortable, and no apparent weak spots.
I certainly appreciate the CD/DVD case and the PS2 controller, too. I haven't thought of a good place to put the weather station, though. Overall, I'm quite happy with my purchase.
Keep the flings coming!

I just want to take the time to thank Thingfling, not only for the free "you owe me one" gift.. Honestly, I didn't think they owed me anything... I'm probably one of the few that actually got some usage out of the Xbox surge protector. (the original xbox has a lot of good uses when softmodded), But I thought the coupons and greeting cards were plenty. A lot of very nice and cool things in this MB... I think the thermometer is pretty neat.. All in all, a great MB... Keep up the awesome work Thingfling!

I'm so not a Britney Spears fan, but.... oops, I did it again! This time, reading the 'what I got' thread actually helped! Between me being klutzy and just the way things can get banged around while traveling, I am rough on headphones, so a second set will come in handy for when the first pair is swinging by a wire from some previously non-moving part... I was wishing for a pair a few weeks ago when I was in the very back of the plane, next to the engine! Storm glasses are nine kinds of cool, so am hoping one of those made it into my box, too! OOH! Just thought - Dad's b'day is in a couple of weeks, and I am due to be in his area for it... one of those might make a nice addition to his collection of fun anachronisms, like the astrolabe. Hmmmmmm... Now I'm doubly excited! (I need a YAY emoticon, smiley with hands up in the air, like this \@/ - or even a cheerleader, like this *\@/* ) I must say, I have shopped at other DOD sites, but repeat purchases are usually few and far between, and I only peek into forums if I'm looking for some particular bit of information. ThingFling Customer Service, the Court, and the Community-at-Large (aka the Peanut Gallery ;p) have kept me making more frequent purchases and coming back to the site on a very regular basis. TF puts up truly useful stuff, and a nice variety, unlike some other sites that seem to have the same types of things pop up repeatedly. And hats off to all the fellow Flingers, you're a great group of characters Curiosity killed the cat.... Satisfaction brought it back!

"Sorry, ORdering is not allowed, it puts you over the maximum order amount for this listing."
WTF???? How is that, I havent purchased this one yet!!!! WHAT THE HECK!!! I decide to give them one more change and try to order a mystery box and it tells me I cant!!! This is not helping me TRUST thing fling again.
IF anything this is a sign NOT TO ORDER FROM THEM!!!
Geez, I try to give them more money and they wont let me, Maybe this is their way of "Shagging " me, so they saved me $30.00!!
I think I got shagged before I even ordered!! HA! I got to keep my $30.00 and I dont have to find a way of disposing of a bunch of useless junk!!
Has any one been shagged better than that? I, too, was hesitant! But, I had a 5.00 coupon I wanted to use before I gave up on Thing Fling forever! But, when my box arrived today and I saw those noise canceling headphones... I was blown away! Why the box that they were packed in (box within a box) was so so cool! I am going to recycle both boxes... The biggest one I am going to repaper and use a a container to hold my craft stuff! It has velcro and everything! Okay, I am rambling... When I checked out the headphones, I found them on line at the cheapest price of 80.00!! They are selling on Ebay for 90.00 and that doesn't include shipping!! I tried them out and they are awesome! I can finally hear stereo on my husbands laptop... and I can play my games without him hearing a peep of the music and other blips and blings it makes! Thing Fling, Queen, King and all the royal court you are awesome!! B

They are listed at amazon for $62.88. Still an awesome deal. Would have rather had the battery thing than the controller. Don't have a ps2. But I can trade it in and get something else. Thanks thingfling
