Hey..I just stumbled across this! I'm sure most of you know about this..but some might not..like I didn't...you can trade in your older electronics for gift cards towards new stuff at Circuit City http://cc.eztradein.com/cc/ Of course not everything qualifies but alot will and hey..even if you get $10 for some old stuff you don't use...it's a free DVD (on sale of course) Or just save them up till next Christmas! There's a calculator on the page to determine if you have stuff you can trade and how much they'll give you. Now I'm thinking about all the old PC's, monitors, printers/faxes I've given away because I bought new and the old was just old to me

Apparently I have nothing of any value to them. Although, they will take all my ancient CRT monitors for free (no recycling, no shipping)  The excruciating magnitude of your philosophical confabulations are simply too voluminous for the diminuity of my comprehension. 22

My stuff has no value either. I don't even think the local thrift stores will accept older computers, not much resale value for the space taken up. Maybe craigslist . . . 62 flings (105 counting multiples), $1861 spent!

Too bad the stuff we get in the mystery boxes that we don't use aren't on the list..would have been pretty cool to trade in some of it! My son usually finds homes for my old stuff so I don't have to figure out what to do with it all...his friends are always happy to take crap off my hands!  But you never know...an old cell phone might get you a few bucks. I wish they took the CRT monitors and TV's..I have two and will be giving them away soon enough.

Apparently my stuff's not good enough for cc. That is a cool idea though.. I especially like the free shipping.

I can get $13 for my old phone and $41 for my old camera. I think I will ship the phone once I can find the charger. It isn't hooked up so I'm not getting any use of it. I think I am going to hang onto the camera though. I may need a spare someday or one of the kids could have it. I will have to check the computer stuff when I have more time.
