Hey all,

I started this project in April, and continue to keep it going for a full year. As some of you may know, one of my hobbies is photography, and I'm always snapping away at something.
And because of this, I wanted to take at least one picture everyday and share it with people.

This is my photo project. It is called Daily Shot Project (DSP). All DSP images will be printed at the end of every quarter, and the profits will be donated to my charity.

And I want to share these images with you. I will be updating on a daily basis, so this thread is probably going to get a bit long and heavy.

Feel free to ask me any questions regarding the pictures I post here.

May 26: This is Memorial Day

I like everything about this picture. I was at a barbecue up in the Hills of Beverly, and what a day of relaxation, eating, drinking & swimming with friends. You can't ask for more.

I like May 16th. Until I checked out more of your pics, I thought that was an actual poster they used and you took a pic of it. Good job!

If ya'll want to see something truly funny, go to Joe's justin.tv channel (www.justin.tv/jo3design). If he's not broadcasting live when you tune in, you will still be able to watch the highlight of Joe dancing to a Michael Jackson song.....too darn funny!!!!!

May 27: 55MPH? Riiight.

Although the signs say 55mph, I don't think I've ever hit 55mph on my morning commute coming over this pass, as you can see from the traffic under the signs.

May 28: Not Quite $5 Yet

Granted it's for full service, but the part you can't see says "$4.99". Well, if you look at the regular price, it's $4.59. Yup, I'm confident gas will hit $5 by the summer

I'm glad I'm not out there. I thought (and still do think) that $3.79/gal here was outrageous, but over $4.00/gal is way too much. Unfortunately, I bet gas will be up to $4.00/gal here before summer is over.

The funny thing is that one day, we're all going to look back on times like today and tell our friends "Hey, do you remember when gas used to be under $5.00 a gallon? Ah, those were the good ol' days, but too bad the cars only got 30 miles to the gallon! Can you imagine only getting 30 miles to the gallon? HA!"

lol

HA! I can remember when gas was .35 cents a gallon and we all went into a panic when it reached 1.00 a gallon! Then there was the oil crisis in the 70's and the cars were lined up for blocks at gas stations until they ran out!

OH..and A pack of cigarettes was also .35cents! When they reached .50 cents we all said we'd quit when they reach a dollar...then they reached .65 cents and we said we'd all quit when they reach a dollar...then they reached .75 cents and we still said we'd quit when they reach a dollar...THEN they reached a dollar and we all said we'd quit when they reach $2 dollars...today we're paying almost $4 per pack! Doubt I need to quit! Eh?

Wish a bike were the answer for me, where I live there is no possible way to get around on a bike. At my last house I could walk to work , but not here. I have a Honda, gets 30-40 mph ,but I also have like three other vehicles ...those are the ones I have a hard time filling up . Like Ava, I remember the gas being that low too. The problem I have is the inflation over all , I mean prices have doubled twice over in my short life. Bread was even ten cents a loaf, now it runs $3-4.00 a loaf unless you buy three day old bread from the bread discount place. Crazy , but I think profits have something to do with it all!

But if we're talking profits....milk is now almost $4 a gallon...are cows now charging more for their services to the farmers?? I get the bread thing..people have to actually MAKE the bread and have to be paid..but the cows just squirt the milk out and eat hay! Eh?
