Compared to all the mystery boxes I've bought from ThingFling in the past, I would have to say the 04.17.08 is by far the worst for the money. I've had mystery boxes here for $3, $20, to which the retail value is higher. This mystery box x3 had mostly defective and useless items, for a total of $36.00 shipped. I miss the free shipping days. Luckily, my one year older sister just happened to stop by right when I was closing the box, and she's seen my past boxes and liked them. She was interested in the box and I offered it to her for $10, she gladly accepted the box not knowing what was inside, but I told her it was crap but I bought for $36. She bought the box, and regret now having a 15 pound useless box sitting in her room. Haha, I made $10 after losing $36. Now my sister is offering to give me back the box for free, and I keep the $10. But my room is already filled with a big box filled with all my past items from mystery boxes. I would say the Yugster $10 mystery box is better than the 999x3 box. The apology gifts came in later, and I was like, hm, did I get shagged or something? I opened it up to find that it is some apology letter with 4 hallmark cards. I guess I'll use them, but there's no real occasion for them and the cards are really random. I asked TF to just give me a packing slip so I can ship the items back, but they refused to take it back, even for the cost of shipping. I really do not like to throw away goods, even though it is junk, especially with my room filled already. If anybody would like these things that came in the box, feel free to reply or PM me, and just provide the cost of shipping. This is my first unsatisfied experience with TF, so I guess I'll give it a last chance. Hopefully there will be some $20 shipped mystery boxes so I can get rid of my 333 coupons. Here is my letter of rejection from TF: Quote:Quote:Dear Customer,
Thank you for your e-mail.
Unfortunately, we are unable to process your request with regards to a partial refund.
Those Flingers who bought the MB-999 can return the defective cell phone lights for a replacement.
In addition to the "You owe me one" feature we created, we have also issued a $3.33 coupon for every box sold. This coupon (MB999-X3) is stackable so you can use it on a single order or on up to three different orders.
There is no minimum order amount to use the coupon; however the total amount of the order including shipping has to be more than the amount of the discount. In other words after the discount is applied to your order the total amount can't be zero or negative. If you wish to have the defective cell phone lights replaced, you can send them to:
THINGFLING.COM 107 Trumbull St. Building F-8, 2nd floor Elizabeth, NJ 07206
Please provide the following information to help expedite processing your request:
Your Order # 127007 Reason For Your Return - (A copy of this e-mail)
Please note that the product must be shipped to us at your expense, as per our Return Policy.
Upon receipt, we will provide a replacement for the item.
If you have additional questions please let us know.
Thank You
ThingFling
Hi. Is there any way I can ship the huge box back to you and get a partial refund? I have been a loyal customer of TF and had excellent experiences with support and items. Unfortunately the last box made me realize what I have been using my money on. Most of the LEDs were broken. $36 on useless items. This time the items do not even sell, or is worth any value to me whatsoever, and I would feel bad to just throw them away. The box has made me not login for weeks, and stopped my MB habits. If I can get a partial refund for this item, it would be truly appreciated, or at least shipping slip so I don't have to throw these boxes away. As for the Hallmark cards, Thanks. Although I felt bad for TF to spend money on shipping more junk, I don't think it's much compared to the $36 we've spend on the boxes. Your company has been promoted by super great support and customer relations, I hope it doesn't change. I feel that after there has been more traffic at the site, the items are getting worst, and prices are becoming unreasonable. The MB999-x3 is the 11th purchase I've made with TF, and I hope it is not the last. Thank you for reading my request / feedback / rant. I would be afraid to give these things away (charity/gift), its really garbage. I returned the defective ones. I dont know how i'm gonna get back all good ones if everyone returns the bad ones and those poker watches, oboy. I can use the coasters and playing cards but the watches : P . the shirt I'll use as a undershirt or if I'm gonna paint or row on the dirt. I'm afraid to buy from here anymore.
I did throw my money away. As for those $3.33 credits. I dont know where they are anymore and I dont care

For those who don't want the stuff they got...go to the EVERYTHING ELSE Forum...we havve a TRADE thread there...just list WHAT you have and WHAT you want. Also, There are a lot of people who will take some of the stuff off your hands just for the cost of shipping...like Joe. Figure out what you want to get rid of...weigh it..get THEIR zip code and go to USPS and put in the info...it will then tell you what the shipping would be. It's NOT hard!! I hope this helps!!! 49 Flings Flung and WAAY more to come!Female in case you don't know LMAO

Thanks,
Joe You don't mind if most of the items are broken / useless / junk? Well, the broken stuff should be returned or discarded, yes. But the "useless" stuff and junk? Well, you know what they say: "One man's junk..." I don't mind, and anything we can give away to kids that are less fortunate really bring a smile to their face, regardless of what it is. They don't look at it as "I can't use this" or "this is junk", but rather "Wow, I must have been a good boy/girl to be getting something for free." A lot of the times, we'll give items to single/homeless parents to give to their children. They are always grateful that they could at least put something in their children's hands. So while we often take things for granted and can't find a use for something, I'm that guy that could always find a use for it. Just saying Thing Fling Purchases: 1.
