OMG!!! You guys will not believe what I just got from Thing Fling!!!

The Queen must have noticed my posts saying that what I really wanted was a TF fan in my mystery box! So, I got shagged on the LOMB III, and I was really happy, but just a teensy tiny bit disappointed that there was no TF fan in there. (I really wanted a TF fan to help keep me cool during labor - I'll be having my baby in around 3 weeks!). Well, guess what I just got in the mail! It was not one, but two of the FAMOUS TF fans and a handwritten note from the Queen herself! Here's what it said:

Best wishes on your upcoming "event." We at Thing Fling wish you the very best and want you to remain as cool as possible during the ordeal. Who knows - if you stare at the fan long enough maybe you'll name the child ThingFling. Once again, Good Luck. - QueenFling and The Royal Court.

LOL - isn't that soooooo cool???!!!??? Okay, well, I have to say, I already have a name picked out, so unless I get totally hypnotized by the lights, I don't think we'll have a baby named ThingFling, but we may have to call her our little "TF baby" as a nickname! Anyway, I am soooo touched by this - I can't believe the wonderful interaction that the Royal Court has with their customers! You guys are the greatest! I can't wait to use my fans to keep cool (well - I must admit - that's not the only reason I can't wait - I'm so beyond ready to pop this baby out)!

Again, thank you sooo much QueenFling and Royal Court!!!!

Wow! What a nice gesture. The Thing Fling prices are Great but it is the way they treat their customers that keeps me around.

Congratulations on your new addition. We are wishing you a speedy, safe and healthy labor and delivery.

OMG! Now THAT is what I call the "ThingFling FAMILY"! That was so thoughtful of them to take the time out to send you those fans! Amazing people the royal court is!!Applause

And ya know...the fan WILL be perfect for you to have something to focus on as well as keep cool! Did you watch the lights spinning kinda hipnotic like??

There is no other company like ThingFling ANYWHERE! Those other DOD sites don't even know their customers names let alone anything about them! It's things like this that make ThingFling #1!! Applause Applause Applause Applause

So now...what's the name you have picked???

I just realized..YOUR baby is going to be OUR first baby born into the ThingFling Family!!!

Her name is Aisling (pronounced Ash-ling) - and I can't wait to meet her! Maybe the fan will hypnotize me and I'll be completely pain free! A girl can dream, right?

Pain? There's pain with childbirth?

Seriously though, really cool name! I don't have that much experience (I only delivered 12 babies and will probably never get to again), but it's so exciting and special everytime. I'm excited for you!! Don't forget batteries for your fans!

Thanks - that's so sweet of you!!!! Thingflingers rock!

Be careful what you ask for - Shaggy may show up on your doorstep! Laughing Laughing Laughing

Also, does anyone remember the name of the person who was asking that poker watches be sent to him/her for a charity event? I have 3, and of course I have to get rid of all the clutter before baby comes home, so I wanted to send them to him/her. I can't seem to find it in the threads - anyone remember?

That would have been cool. You would have definitely seen me in the news.

I assisted on a cesarean and got to pull out twins. But the 12 vaginal deliveries were all singletons. My ex-girlfriend is a 3rd year OB/GYN resident and she called me about 3-4 months ago to tell me she delivered quadruplets. That's a once in a life time thing for a OB. Most of them are C-sectioned. She was super excited.

I don't know what number this is for you, but through all the sweat and work, I hope you enjoy it. It's awesome, exciting, cathartic, AND you get to take home a baby!

I have just started with TF thanks to my wonderful daughter. I have never heard of a company doing something like this for their customers and what queen and the court did will keep me coming back. I hope your new child will be as great as mine are.
