Haha yeah. I mostly tend to just pick one and stick with it. It's not that I don't end up wanting to play exclusives on other systems, but I never get to play all that I want to on the system I have anyway! My 60GB PS3 (Which upgraded to 200GB) keeps me pretty busy when I have any time to play/watch movies. Got the new Dual Shock 3 controllers not too long ago.. I am now set!.. and have a stack of backlogged PS3/P2 games I haven't gotten around to yet. (I'm a one game at a time kinda guy, same way with books and movies and such. It sure stinks if I start an awful book/movie/game, because I am COMPELLED to finish it anyway. Stupid OCD!)

I have a Wii and its great. It has a decent line up of games now, Zelda, Smash Bros, Mario Kart, and Galaxy. As long as a game doesnt go overboard on the motion controls they are fun. I don't think I would ever get a 360 or ps3 tho, but thats just me. I play my FPSs on the PC, but it seems the PC is getting shafted on FPSs. COD4 was so much better after some good custom maps came out. Most of the stock maps are too small.

I like the 2 dimensional going from left to right only..or bottom to top...pretty much cuts it for me in the gaming scene! I did do a virtual reality game once..it was cool..but I got killed thats one of the first games I downloaded on my WII .. You can download games on it?? You downloaded the original 2-D Mario Bros? How about the controller thing though..it's that little white square thing..isn't it?

I haven't played any games since Castlevania Yes, you can download classic games onto the system. I have Castlevania downloaded and I'm still stuck at the same place I was 15 years ago. You can get a classic SNES controller for the system. Pretty much everything is wireless, which is cool. Really, the Wii is for a different sort of gamer.

Really, the Wii is for a different sort of gamer. Yeah for a real gamer...I'm just a dabbler..once in a blue moon when it lands on a Tuesday in the middle of June and the temp is below 80 outside. On the upside..my son burned some disks that have every Nintendo game EVER on one...all PlayStation games on another and something called Genisis games on another..they're completely playable on the computer so if I need a fix....I can Mario on my computer! Actually...I need to get a new power cord for my laptop so I can use it in the living room on that TV...it's a 34" HDTV/Monitor so I can plug the laptop into the TV and use it as a monitor...just want another power cord so I don't have to crawl under my desk and undo the one that's always plugged in here...then I need wireless controllers and voila..we have them ALL! Probably thousands of games..and I can play....one!

Oh. No, I own a Wii and an Xbox 360 and my roommate owns a PS3. What I meant is that I've never played Castlevania.
Since I've already bragged about crap I have, I might as well finish it off. My roommate also has a 61" DLP HDTV and I bought the surround sound system. So we're all set with that sorta stuff.

So since this thread first came around, I have procured a Wii, and scored a Wii Fit on my just recently past birthday. Very interesting little package, I have had fun with it so far, and I think it might actually be especially useful to me, so long as I can keep interested in it, as a means to exercise my balance which has been off ever since a major surgery a year back. Was kind of curious though, all you who replied about having the wii fit way back when, how do you feel about it now? Do you still use it? Any noticeable gains or losses if you stuck with it? Just curious about the long term experience. I can honestly see the potential of it being one of those things you lose interest in after the initial love affair wears off, and/or all the activities grow old and tired. Any thoughts from anyone still around?
