It's really causing me problems and I don't understand the delay. Maybe it's because no one is talking to me? C'mon, this could be solved by deleting a post and a profile...how hard can that be? Should it really take 5 days and 4 tickets? At this rate, King is gonna owe me a lot more than one...

What? What is the problem you're writing them about? So you registered on the 20th and this is your first post... Are you trying to get an old account deleted? Why is that so urgent to warrant 4 ticket submissions in 5 days?

Especially since posting a reply to the ticket usually gets it bumped up for them to see anyway. The excruciating magnitude of your philosophical confabulations are simply too voluminous for the diminuity of my comprehension. 22

Yeah, thanks guys... I know you're trying to be helpful, but there is more to the situation than would be apparent unless you read the ticket.
I'm aware of the rules and I have replied to the initial open ticket. Repeatedly (although only once a day to be patient and respectful). I'm just trying to get them to follow up with me as they assured me they would.
If you can't help me, I'd ask you to at least be respectful. I can't stop you from thinking I'm an idiot, but honestly your posting that I'm an idiot just bumps an a thread that's inappropriate (and shouldn't have been necessary).
Anyone else reading this post? Always open a ticket. Be patient while they try to resolve it.

Defensive a little? Well you obviously are not willing to share what your issue is--the help desk was the right place to go for any issue, creating a thread will not make it resolve faster, they already have whatever it is sitting right there in front of them. I asked what your issue was because if it is deemed a low priority issue--while I am sure it will get resolved eventually, it may be pushed off to the side until higher priority issues are dealt with.

LOL I couldn't believe someone as nice as Scared, who sent me a great trade today and has one headed toward him would be so insensitive! On a serious note though, I have been trying to resolve a ticket since that first 59.99 LOMB, and I think the help desk and I are now on the same page. I think the problem with the transmission was that I type with a slow southern drawl, and they read fast, like people in Jersey talk. All said and done, patience is a virtue. And, welcome to the forums! We really don't bite. If the only opinions that matter are everyone else's, do you ever really have one of your own?

I've had really good experience with the help desk. They were minor issues involving coupon codes, but they responded and resolved them both within a day or two.
And, welcome from me too. I think you'll like it here.

Sorry if I created any confusion, Didn't mean to say anyone actually *called* me an idiot... just that I felt like I was being talked to like one because I was a newbie. A phrase like "What's so important..." doesn't exactly feel warm and welcoming... especially because if I specified exactly why I needed help, it would have made the problem worse. Spy Fling was able to help me out, and everything is right with the world (or at least my account). I apologize to anyone (especially Scared) if I gave the wrong impression. As I'd said in my PM to Scared, I wasn't trying to be defensive - just trying to explain without making the problem more complicated. Again, I don't think anyone was trying to be mean - and I knew I was taking an extreme step. I'm very sorry if I caused any frustration for anyone. I'm really hoping we can just let this die now that it's been fixed - that's why I tried to resolve with Scared via PM instead of bumping the thread. The only reason I'm posting this is to let everyone know publicly (because I made it a public issue) that everything has been resolved, and I'm happy with TF. I'm also good with Scared (and hope that goes both ways) and I was sincere when I said I knew people were trying to help. Special thanks to Spy Fling for helping me out...even if I did things the wrong way So: I'm not a newbie. I may (or may not) be an idiot. I'm happy because my problem was solved. I love TF!

Glad your problem was resolved. Welcome to the forum (in a new replacement account?) I did not mean to irk you, just simply intended to say you were being a tad cryptic, but I gather it was all part of the problem. So it goes. Happy flinging! Deb, I'm glad you liked your box.

I'm glad everything is cool. I hope you feel welcome and comfortable here. I've only been around for a couple of months and the community (and deals) are awesome.
