For about an hour and a half  Anyhow...He DID NOT post that cat pic!! After he explained everything, I believe him! HE IS NOT THE ONE TO BLAME!!! His laptop is dead, so he can not come in and explain it right now, but he is pissed!! And he has spoken with the fool who did this! BTW...he is NOT FLAUTA!! I went back through that whole LONG thread and only could find 1 pic posted by FLAUTA and it was HOT-LINKED, so basically a dead end there.  Deathtaco doesn't know how that stuff works  I had to explain how to posyt a pic to him....SO Everyone calm down until he can get back. ALSO....can anyone say that Deathtaco EVER said anything bad to anyone in here???  49 Flings Flung and WAAY more to come!Female in case you don't know LMAO

I never said DeathTaco said anything bad - in fact, I think that is where the anger came from for everybody on this board. We all liked DeathTaco, but when we found the pics that were posted by DeathFling came from DeathTaco's account, we were upset at the fact that the supposed "nice guy" had us fooled. I will wait to hear from DeathTaco and would love to read his version of these events before I make up my mind for certain. However, I can't help but think it's odd that ever since DeathTaco's computer died, we have seen nothing else posted by either DeathFling OR DeathFlauta.....coincidence???? I'm sorry Debs - I'm jaded when it comes to things like this, and it takes a lot to change my mind... Afterall, the name calling and dead cat pics are just too much for me to overcome without some serious convincing that it was not DeathTaco behind these dirty deeds....

You know, it's possible it was a friend or family member (or someone who didn't like him) who did it. They could very well have access to his password(s). DEATHFLING stopped posting right after someone called him out as being linked to deathtaco or when deathtaco's laptop died, you choose. Either way it's entirely possible it wasn't him. I haven't been here for that long, but I'd like to give a person the benefit of a doubt before condemning them. The excruciating magnitude of your philosophical confabulations are simply too voluminous for the diminuity of my comprehension. 22

I for one am pretty apathetic to the whole situation. Dunno why, but I don't feel I know DeathTaco as well as I know some of you. Although I DO know I was rejected for him in the Who'd you rather thread, and yeah I'm still giving you the evil eye for that one endless!  ' Of course I ALSO made it a point to keep out of that infamous thread so aside from hearsay I have no first hand experience with what Deathfling was spouting. But for those of you interested in the resolution of this matter, wait it out, let the guy speak his peace--although I must say in my personal opinion--the simplest explanation/deduction is often the correct one. Unfortunately (actually fortunately!) most of us are not "special" enough to warrant interest from anyone to pose as us or secretly share a photo account with us... Course all that said, hey guys, it's nice and sunny out here, how about where you all are? Life's pretty good just about right now! Come to the forum for fun, but in the end? It's just a forum right? Let anything that ails you slide right off, because end of the day, big picture, it's really not that important.

 Thanks Scared...but I really want to clear this up. I have been pm'ing with Taco for as long as I have been here and I am a pretty good judge of character. I have only been wrong TWICE in 5 years...so... OK...Flauta's last post was Thursday, May 08, 2008 7:49:03 PM Deathtaco said he was NEVER Flauta and I believe him...WHY you ask...because like I said, we spoke on the phone for a VERY long time last night. He really didn't want me to get in the middle of this...he wanted to take on all this himself, but I don't know how LONG that will be and I really don't want ya'll thinking bad of him for when he DOES get back! OK..Deathtaco set up an account for his brother...under DeathFling...his brother helped him set up the photobucket account because Taco didn't have a clue how to do that (I know this because he asked HOW we were able to get into his Bucket account. You'll see some banter going on between Taco and Fling....NOT directed to anyone BUT each other!! Now to finish what I was saying...Friday night, Taco and I were pm'ing back and forth ALL night. Around 6 - 6:30, Taco said his laptop was going out on him and IF he disappeared that was why and then he gave me his email addy. We kept pm'ing for a couple more hours...about 9 or 10 I sent a pm that he didn't answer for a long time, so I logged off. It was his daughter's B-day and he said they were outside and everyone was there. Last night he said his brother came over and he asked him to look at his laptop, then he went inside to clean up. Next thing he knows, I sent him the email asking WT??? So he asked a friend to look at the forums and see what's up. His friend only told him something about a picture. He said he jumed on his brother about it. SORRY SO LONG....He is VERY upset about this and doesn't want anyone thinking he would do anything like this!! Not intending to get flamed or anything, but why is this ending up such a big deal? I didn't actually see the offending picture, but it seems that whoever really posted it has gotten exactly the reaction they were after. In my experience, the best way to deal with situations like this is to ignore the person responsible. If they can't get a reaction, then eventually they'll go away... TheEndless

I'm assuming I didn't get chosen. so whoever does, take care of the trolls. This is a very simple investigation into what the IP was that posted it and what deathtaco's IP is.

Confirmed: DeathTaco and DeathFling posts have the same IP address from an ISP in Ohio. EDIT: DeathFlauta is a different person. "TinyGecko" is now "CodeFling"
