Easy question... What do you do for a living? Are you a home maker? A Dancer? A bible sales man/women?

I work for HP (yes the computer company) as a design engineer for the buisness class products.

I workat a golf course. when hired they called it mantince but it is more like a greenskeeper. I LOVE it. I was just recently promoted so i will have a job over the winter. I have only been there 3 months and they already have me mowing the greens. It was kinda scary at first cuz the greens are about $30,000 a piece. I know that is a lot of money for grass, but i have not messed up yet. PS I am the only girl there and i out work 90 % of the guys and they don't like it.

I'm a stripper.

JUST KIDDING.
I'm a stay at home mom. I quit my job when my husband's mother got sick, and I helped take care of her. When she passed away, we inherited enough money for me to be able to stay home, for now. We kind of got ourselves into a spending habit and put us back toward being short on money. We're not AWFUL, but with me not working, I don't like to spend money at all. I always feel like it's HIS money, not mine.
Anyway. Yeah. I raise my kids. Hardest job I've ever had. But both are straight A wonderful kids.

ok..back to topic and out of the gutter now!

Medical Benefits Consultant - ie..obtain Medicaid/Medicare benefits for patients in the hospital so the hospital can get paid thru Medicaid via either DCF or Social Security disability...so..pretty much..I do what the lawyers do to get disability benefits and then get their bills paid thru Medicaid/Medicare by taking it all the way to the hearing level. I work closely with all the disability lawyers in the area also if the patient hires one. If they have kids..It's an easy case and just work on getting Medicaid approved! I love those gravy cases! Very Happy

also...I'm an Antique Dealer...my fun hobby job! I have two online stores that basically do all the work for me..except pack the boxes. That one I am at the point where I get to just sit back and watch the orders come in and pack & ship when they pay Very Happy

It is great right now but come the middle of summer it might be so great. I will still work hard cuz that is how i was taught. I want to slap some smarts into some of the guys i work with cuz they do just enough to get by and it is irritating. Ex: if we have to wait on our boss to get back to do a project i will sweep and they will stand around and BS and talk about the girls they have been with. at first i did not mind now it is annoying. oh well they are giving themselves enough rope to hang themselves with. then i will get more hours which means more $$$$

That's a pretty common feeling with stay at home parents. It great getting paid in hugs and sloppy kisses, but it doesn't buy very much at the store. Asking my husband for money, even for things that we needed, made me feel like I was asking my Daddy for money. Not to mention I don't like being told no, and my husband didn't like having to be in that position. It eventually came down to me telling him to either let me have a run at handling the bills and shopping, or start giving me an allowance. LOL. Since his paycheck was already being directly deposited into my bank account anyway, I just started taking care of everything and making sure he has spending money in his pocket so neither of us has to be in the position of having to ask or say no.

That is what we started doing recently. I started handling the bills so that I could get a better knowledge of what our income was, where it was going, and why we were getting ourselves back in trouble when we HAVE NO BILLS! (aside from normal stuff). Hubby was spending a lot on his bike, etc, and we were eating out a lot. Now that I've taken over, I am able to manage it a bit better then he does. He just doesn't have the energy to do it all after he comes home from work.
