god it hurts so bad. It feels like it's swollen shutSad It's not, but it just hurts that bad. I'm trying to stay away from the kids and the husband, but for some reason he insists on kissing me when I don't feel good. Laughing crazy man.
Hopefully this will go away quick. I hate being sickSad

Hot coffee! It's the cure all for just about everything.

Well..at least it is for me...I would think it works for everyone else too.

Hope you feel better really soon!

OJ is the cure for anything! (the drink, not the dude Wink ) I drink like 10 gallons of the stuff as I'm getting sick or when I'm sick. It always seems to keep whatever I've got down to only a couple days. YMMV of course, but I hope you...

The excruciating magnitude of your philosophical confabulations are simply too voluminous for the diminuity of my comprehension.

Thanks everyone...I am just hoping it's not strep. It still hurts like hell and I have a headache now that won't go away. I've taken advil, but no help. I had a Halls cough drop, but that just made me feel worse because it went away for 2 min, then came back full force.Sad

Melmo...Tell DH to quit kissin on you and go get you a Slurpee or Icee or whatever he can find in that genre. It will make your throat feel so much better...I promise. The kids look forward to sore throats around here cause they get all the Slurpees they want. Feel better soon! PS...if you are going to the doctors, I don't recommend a cherry slurpee! Shame on you Greek

I've never tried salt and vinegar chips...I'll have to try that. I just took some Nyquil and hopefully will be passing out after I get the kids into bed. I'm sure hubby will love having the xbox to himself without having to share with me tonightLaughing Laughing

You know what is the absolute BEST for a sore throat? I am not kidding you: Salt 'n Vinegar potato chips. Absolute bliss for a sore throat (and otherwise in my opinion)

Feel better, Melmo--

First off I definitely would like to say get well soon. But in other pressing matters.....This is not an easy brand to find nationally and have no idea where most people are from but if you can find them the Troyer Farms Salt N' Vinegar are literally AMAZING! They make every other brand seem like garbage flakes (not kidding). If scaredwitless's tip works (and I will try it) these will cure it in no time. Anyway, bright gold bag and the only area I know you can get them easily which is around here, which is to say the middle of nowhere. Thank you Western NY.

It looks like Troyer Farms is distributing nationwide over the internet at least. This link is for a case of four bags. The price is actually pretty much the same as in store so not bad. For the S N' V lover I recommend these.
Rock Rock On!

I was OUT by the time you posted this. I took my nyquil and was out in 20 minutes. WOW was that nice. I still have a sore throat, but it feels nothing like it did yesterday. And my nose is not a faucet, although it's still awfully stuffed up. I hate being sick. Its so rare I get sick, that it hits me like a brick.
