Yep I totally agree and I didn't get ANY apology letter or box!! I did send all the non working lights back per TF's request and they are suppose to replace them. We'll see, but I still stand by my word that I will never buy a MB again

I guess some of you are a lot more forgiving that I. For me, a couple of crappy musical cards doesn't make up for the $30 I threw away on a box of broken crap. If TF really wanted to make things up, why don't they send what was originally promised - an awesome MB. What a waste of money and space in my trash can. I have purchases several flings before, and had always been pleased, and wanted to try a MB. When this one came up it was describe as such a "hit" that I figured it was the one to get! I will never ever again waste my money on a box of mystery garbage. Very disappointed, and a musical card just doesn't make it worth my $30.

And on top of everything else, in reading others' posts, I realized that the one thing that is semi useful - the t-shirt - I got only one of while others got 2. I got of the other items too, but they all suck anyway, so it doesn't really matter - just adds insult to injury to know that I got swindled out of $30 and also swindled out of the proper amount of useless crap.

No wait that isn't all they did they even sent me another two gifts free of charge. Wow wait a go thingfling and the royal court. You guys rock. Sitting here waiting for an inexpensive 10-30 dollar MB Whistle Whistle Whistle

hmmmm Think and yet..EVERYTHING in my mystery boxes work AND all of my FREE Musical Greeting cards work also! I seriously doubt they have a special AVA bin with all the working items sent specially to me alone! I wonder if there is a blinking neon light over the bin that reads AVA's FLINGS..no wait..a giant neon ThingFling fan that say's AVA'S FLINGS! yeah!

I dunno...I have never had a problem with anything I've ever received from here..everything is always in perfect working order..even the FREE stuff! And..if the cards didn't work..I definately wouldn't complain about them..they're FREE!

The cards were a nice touch! I've known from the start that ANY "Mystery," "Bag of Fish," other item I purchase that doesn't specifically say what's inside is a gamble. With TF it has almost always paid off.

I'm just bummed I didn't get in on the latest MB!!

Thank you!Applause Applause
65 Flings!!! and counting

In a small Texas town, a new bar/tavern started a building to open up their business. The local Baptist church started a campaign of petitions and prayers to block the bar from opening.

Work progressed, however right up till the week before opening, when a lightning strike hit the bar and it burned to the ground.

The church folks were rather smug in their outlook after that, till the bar owner sued the church on the grounds that the church was ultimately responsible for the demise of his building, either through direct or indirect actions or means. The church vehemently denied all responsibility or any connection to the building's demise in its reply to the court.

As the case made its way into court, the judge looked over the paperwork. At the hearing he commented, "I don't know how I'm going to decide this, but as it appears from the paperwork, we have a bar owner who believes in the power of prayer, and an entire church congregation that doesn't."

Every morning to cheer myself up, I create a computer file and name it Barack Obama. Then I move it into the recycling bin and hit empty the recycling bin...the computer always leaves his fate in my hands by asking.....
DO YOU REALLY WANT TO GET RID OF BARACK OBAMA?
I firmly click yes and smile

Received my 4 cards today. All worked, just like the Cell Phone Lights. For those who say their lights don't work, did you look at the thread about getting them to work? Most don't work until they are attached to something.

This has to be the third or fourth time that TF has gone out of their way to try and appease their customers. They, in no way, had to send additional items because some people weren't happy with their "MYSTERY" box. I couldn't use EVERYTHING that came in the box, but friends/co-workers enjoyed the extra items. And if you don't have any friends or co-workers, donate them to a charity that has a thrift store.

Thanks again TF for trying to please all the people all the time.

Agreed!!

I did get the cards, nice try but they were coming apart on receipt! A small piece of cardboard would have kept them from getting all bent and twisted in transit!

Still waiting for TF to make things right and get me my working items from the $9.99 Box-O-Crap!

Now that I said this here comes the personal attacks from the Cat cheerleaders!

I DONT have a cat, I cheer no cat...and I am still happy with my FREE gift cards, not TF fault Your mail people handled the mail so that it was not nice when you recieved it. I live on the west coast and I got mine in great shape, just a simple shipping envelope. Cant make all the people happy all the time and some people can be made happy...they are the ones we dread in the grocery store, the gas station, in the office etc that we wonder what made them so bitter in life to be 8o and growling at people all the time, I say use pain medicine if ya are that cranky! Bad Grin Bad Grin Shame on you Bad Grin Bad Grin

It's good to know that the Royal Court are paying attention to what kind of "junk" is pushing the limits. I realise that to most people alot of the stuff you get in the MB is "junk" I usually find 1 Item I like and really can use and the rest I think is neat. The flashlights I actually think are kind of neat and I will/have found uses for them. They put off a pretty good light. The game manager I can at least use the surge strip part and the 4 poker watches might end up as gifts to my little cousins. No clue yet what to do w/ the keyboards. I mean I still feel I got my moneys worth out of the deal. I got the exciment of not knowing what I am going to get, got a few usefull items and some Think Items. I still don't think it was as bad as the keon lights...I still haven't figured out what to do with those things.

I got my cards today; appology accepted from me as well. I'm still going to stay away from the mystery boxes, but I do admit I bought it knowing it was a complete mystery. I do hope they bring back the AMBs again. I haven't tested my cards yet, but I'm amused just that they thought of the idea of sending them, even if they don't work.
