 I never got a freebie box, wonder why, I got about a million cell phone flashlights, and about 500,000 of them don't work. Oh well, can always give them away. Have a good Thing Fling day everyone.

I was wondering if the theme from 'Shaft' was a tongue-in-cheek way of acknowledging the user community's feelings on the MB's or was did fate have a hand in the selection? ... and yes, I got mine yesterday -- it was a very nice gesture and is appreciated. I don't know if I'll partake in any future mystery boxes ... possibly an AMB ... but will continue to look at the 'normal' flings. Flings... Noise Canceling Headphones (use them everyday) .. Philips 6.0DECT Cordless Phone (Excellent phone - even my wife likes it!) .. 2 Phillips Web cams (gave one to my mother-in-law, but it didn't help) .. Valentine Mystery Box 3.77 (loved the fan but my guess was WAY off) .. Mystery Box .. 29.99 Mystery Box .. and finally, the number of times in the last 18 years to get Shagged by someone other than my wife (zero) .... so I'm in for another 3 chances to get shagged with the The Infamous THINGFLING Mystery Box- ! -- okay .. I've done it again and ordered another 3 !! and then I flinged the Power Sentry surge protector .. too good of a deal to pass up! ... and then yes, I'm taking a chance on letting TF redeem themselves so -- I did it again -- Leftover Mystery Box Part III. ... AND YES -- no more mystery boxes for me !!! . .. and apology accepted and thanks for the cards -- but remember that consumer confidence is difficult to restore ! ... Ionic White - Light Activated Tooth Whitening System ... ordered 2x of the teeth whiteners .. and finally took the plunge again with -- The ThingFLing Total Mystery Box (which I didn't have much use for - but others may) -- 2 RadioShack Sensorslab Project Kits - a real steal!

The cards are a little on the silly side, but I get the message, TF. You do seem to read the posts. By the way, if you wiggle them a bit, then stick two of the cell lights back to back as someone else suggested they make a neat little pocket flashlight. Most of mine came to life after a bit of tlc.

I got my "we owe you" package today. Nice gesture for the three not so hot mystery boxes I got. But, four musical cards? Seemed more like salt in the wounds left by the MB's! Somebody actually thought four cards was some kind of a "we owe you"? Again, nice gesture, but really a waste of your time and mine.

I thought it was really cool of them to do this. I read the forums too much to have been surprised when the cards came, but I enjoyed them. And Kenerg in another thread said that he took one apart and attached it to the toilet seat so it played music when you lifted it. Great idea (which I will steal as my own).

I also got the 4 singing cards. Wonderful! My 6 yr old is obsessed with these cards. She is allways asking me to buy these for her but I can't see spending $5 for my daughter to play with and then lose them within 10 min. She got home and was so excited to see these. Thanks!!!! Also, I never bought anything off this site untill the 9.99 boxes so was a little concerned about buying anything else from this site. But after the coupons and the cards, I have flung 2 more items including another mytery box. I was not that unhappy with the 9.99 boxs because I got the mp3 players which I wanted and my mom wanted one, so figured I got my money's worth but was dissaponted to recieve items that were not working. Now I am very happy and feel that this is a site who cares about their customers when they are going to go that far to make it up to us. Great job! And how can you guys complain about the free cards?!?! They are FREE! Not to mention, it was them saying they are sorry. Some people just need to complain about everything.
