Let me start,
I started checking out DOD site's after my local news channel did a piece on WootShhh IN 06.After getting my feet wet there,I started checking out other sites.I came upon Bargan jack's.com(Jacks one day deals and found Thing FlingApplause After a couple purchases here and asking(Newb) questions,The SEASONED Flingers's (You know who you are)gave me educated and knowlegable answer's.Being treated with respect and not taunted by the community for asking questions about products I had little knowledge of I decided to stick around. The atmosphere and fellow flinger's for the most part not to mention the Royal Court and staff have been for the most part(My time here (EXCEPTIONALLY)devoted to their flinger'sApplause Applause Applause And with that being said I have been A pretty loyal flinger(As I do sometimes stray)But I have never left the Flingdom,as you may see by my # of post.A certain other DOD site has a very rude and demeaning clientele that is really not to friendly to (Newb's) and even their own seasoned #oo#ters Which makes this IMHO the best DOD site out theirApplause Applause Not a(FANBOY)just stating fact.

So their you have it,my 2cent's
Sincerly,Your fellow Flinger

I am forever surfing the web checking out new things. About a year ago I was bored and checking out "my favs" or otherwise known as "bookmarks" and notices there was a "recommended " tab...so I clicked on it. Wow! ThingFling.com, got my surfboard on and rode the web over there. I did a lot of reading and really tried hard not to click that button. Then something happened, it was summer, got busy and forgot about TF(yes I admit that I did place TF on the back burner Sad ) Then one day I clicked there again , and well nothing quite looked appetizing, so I jsut read the forums occassionally. Then just on Valentines Day of this year, the MB was there..shiney and promising of a rocking something to be acquired, so I did it , for the first time Shock I clicked when I was being called by my family away from the computer. That's all it took. I didnt even know about D.O.D wedbsites , only knew Start Sam9ling dot something or other(not even close to this place) and I have been here ever since through the good and the bad and the better . I have been Shagged royally twice and it felt good!Shock Shock Bad Grin

My cousin turned me onto WOOT several months ago. I haven't bought much there. I just think it's the WOOTOFF thrill I like. So naturally I downloaded wootalyzer. Somehow one night I happened upon DODTRACKER, ordered a couple things from other sites( I think YUGSTER was one). After those items were duds, I looked for a site witha forum so I could talk to other consumers. Found TF. I started checking the DODT site every night when suddenly the 3.77 MB came up. I bought 7.. 2 for my cousin and 5 for me. I've been hooked ever since. Yes I know only since March...lol. Don't you hate it when you drawn in by "Fling Pressure!!!!!"

The excruciating magnitude of your philosophical confabulations are simply too voluminous for the diminuity of my comprehension.

Same thing happened to me. Very Happy Cousin turned me on to woot; caught the beginning of a woot-off late one night; participated in woot-off to the end and got BOC first go around. That was the inital hook for me.

I always go thru the wootalyzer everyday and something on TF caught my eye. I read the WHOLE forum before putting in my first order. I also liked the "tone" of the forum and felt comfortable enough to jump right in and start postingSmile Funny thing, I got my cousin hooked into reviewing DOD sites everyday now by my BOC and Mystery Boxes, so SHE has now downloaded the wootalyzer & we compare notes, etc. But TF is now my FIRST LOVE! I always look for new sites to check out and I came across Dingleit.com. One of the free items on there was something being given away by ThingFling. I was aware of DOD sites and would cruise most of them daily to see what is being offered but I keep a window always open on TF along with a TF Widget just incase of a power outage or something so it can bring it back to TF as soon as I am back online.

My dad kept giving us things......gave my daughter a MP3 and some other stuff just out of left field. Finally I asked where he was getting it......Woot of course. So, I started checking them out. Got really drawn in after a WootOff. Had to download the Wootalyzer. Never have got the BOC myself.
Wootalyzer popped up with a MysteryBox. Hmmm......Read around a little, then ordered. Now I just check Woot once in the morning.
ThingFling, however, is much more frustrating.....Brick wall
I check it when I get to work. And read all the fourms to catch up on what I've missed since I went home and to bed.
I check it before I leave for lunch, gotta see how long this item is going to be up for....
I check it when I get back from lunch...and catch up again on the fourms.....
I check it before I leave from work......
All in All I think I spend at least 2-3 hrs (of work time) here looking at items & posting on the fourms.

I heard of woot from some college friends in '06. Earlier this year, I downloaded wootalyzer and saw that there is a whole mess of DoD sites. Shock That is how I discovered Thing Fling. Then I just happened to check the forums and I got hooked. Dancing

Thing Fling's community can't be beat. Applause

I found this site through a " Mommy " board. There was a MB post and the ladies seemed quite excited. By the time I finished the thread and clicked the link, the MB was gone. I bookmarked and checked back once in awhile. Finally, there was a MB one day and I Flinged it. I am still around because this is a good community. The Court all seem to be quite helpful and friendly. Also, I have yet to see a 50 page trainwreck thread because someone got their panties in a bunch.

I am also still here because I was divorced recently and it has really caused me to cut back on my life. I still have the same expenses and kids and my household is suddenly bringing in less than half the paycheck. I now have very little " Fun " money and what I do have pretty much goes to the kids. To me this is " Fun " I don't have a babysitter, so I can't go anywhere without at least 2 kids. These Mystery Boxes provide a couple of weeks of anticipation and entertainment at a pretty limited cost. The wait is fun, opening the boxes is fun, the Shag was amazing. It was like giddy childhood Christmas excitement for me. It is just a fun thing to do that takes nothing away from my family. I have now even bought a couple of regular items and I can't wait until they arrive. ( Actually, it is just the Cool Downz I can't wait for. It was 102 today and I don't have A/C )

Anyway, I am still here because this is a GREAT site with great customers. I am having a wonderful time and I am getting a lot of Holiday shopping done. Perfect spot for me.
