If people only knew how hard I work to gain my mastery, it wouldn't seem so wonderful at all. ~ Michelangelo Buonarroti

To be good at anything takes trying, to be great at anything takes dedication and the rest of your life!

I have seen some of his work, including the Sistine Chapel and it certainly was "hard work" to accomplish, in the physical sense, but there is a lot more than that present. I could work as hard as he did at art and never approach the magnificence of what he did in the least of his works. No amount of training and practice would get me close to the worst of what he did, even during his "student" time. From the little I know of his history, he DID work hard and did it for many years, often under difficult and painful circumstances. I have a huge amount of respect for him and his work.

A tad arrogant sounding, no? Maybe some nuance is lost in translation.
"TinyGecko" is now "CodeFling"
