I, too, got the "service unavailable" message this time.....bummer.....

I bought a coffee maker this a.m. that I desperately needed - it was $29, and I've found it elsewhere for $75+. I also bought yet another (this will be my third) bag of Fiddyment Farms pistachios. If you like pistachios, these are the BOMB!!! I tried to get a BOC this time around, but was unlucky - as usual.... The only thing I can say about the BOC is that you KNOW you are getting crap, and at $1 per bag, that's okay with me. But quite a few get lucky and get some very nice items. I've only scored the BOC one time. I got a bluetooth headset for motorcycle riders that attaches to their helmet. I paid $1 for the box, and sold the headset for $55 on Ebay. Not bad.....
The pistachios are the best. I missed them this wootoff. I have always faired well with my boxes of crap. A headset that attaches to MC helmets? I know I got one of those in my box here at TF. Never knew that woot had those. Well, after reading what everybody else got in their BOC, it seems I was the only one that got the headset - or at least I was the only one that posted about getting it...... I would have rather had a Roomba!!! Oh well.....

Actually, we had agreed a few weeks ago to play nice and keep off topic comments and threads in the "Everything Else" section. And, we all stuck to our promise. However, when things got ugly and the personal attacks started, all the "cheerleaders" (myself included), and other TF supporters decided to break our promise and attack back. You get what you give.....

It's an ACER...can't you get those brand new for around that price? How can you critique anybody's website layout when you're doing this to our internet? http://www.tias.com/stores/angelsplace/
You obviously don't know too much about PCs, but I won't get into that right now, Thanks for showing me Angelsvintageattic website, I've not been there before. OH wow..I didn't even see that post from JUNK..thanks for posting my link! Free advertising! Now..if YOU knew anything about PC's you'd know that is a template that the MALL my store is in uses...I was not able to create my own layout as they provide this for us..The only thing we as store owners can do is create our own logo and background...ALL online malls are like this...IF you knew anything about the web..you'd know this! Some don't even give a layout option..some are just listings in the mall in their basic layout....like eBay. But..thanks for the free advertising!

Got a BOC awhile back and it was as advertised...crap. Ordered 3 of them and got 2 items. The first item was a 6 inch wrestling figure of Andre the Giant. The second item was a remote controlled helicopter that was a return since it was missing the back half including the tail rotor and it had a smashed remote control box like someone had thrown it down on the pavement after maybe "crashing their copter and destroying the back half". There was no thrid item unless you count the bags of air they used for packing material. All in all it was truly crap so at least it wasn't false advertising but on the bright side, I enjoyed the anticipation and excitement of winning a chance at one.

Me too for what it's worth (got 3). I have never been online when a BOC came up, but the Wootalyzer came through for me. Interesting to read their forums to see the different ways peole got them and the ones who didn't.

Actually, I only tried for a BOC once...kept getting that error message and after 3 tries, I gave up. My nephew started me at Woot...I got a couple of NICE things there....the last being those picture keychains (which go for 20 bucks at Walgreens) for $4.99 each..I snagged 3 and SO wished I could get more!! ANYways, I soon found TF and haven't really gone anywhere else!! 49 Flings Flung and WAAY more to come!Female in case you don't know LMAO

I have been a woot buyer for some time but since TF started up I dont buy much from Woot anymore. Like other say they are too big to care about customers anymore. I have scored three times with good BOCs in the past but it's much harder to do now. I did receive good stuff like new higher priced keyboards, battery backup UPS and a few other things, but also got stuff like exploding chewing gum, fart bombs, even got part of someones lunch once. It was fun but too difficult now. Thingflings MB have a much better value even though they do cost more. I still tell others to check out the site for the great deals and check out the forums. Thingfling RULES when it comes to DOD sites. 60+ Flings
