words can't really describe how irritated I am with thingfling... I appreciate all the "extras" that they're supposedly putting into these orders; however, we wouldn't have a need for "extras" if they would just take the time to be more efficient and take care of the gripes people are having. I ordered this product NINE days ago, and it's not yet processed and shipped... but my batteries I ordered a day after this has already come (4 days ago might I add)... and other items I ordered during the wootoff have already shown up at my door. ThingFling needs to work on expediting their ordering/shipping process imo or no amount of "extra" is going to keep me as a customer... my 2cents.

What is taking so long? Is the royal toilet clogged? acbanks wrote:words can't really describe how irritated I am with thingfling... Not that I'm trying to be apologetic for TF, but let me relate this which may add a little hope to you. I ordered a USB hub on Monday, 5/5 and it was in "Processing" until 5/13, when I got a shipping notification e-mail. But the tracking data indicated that FedEx got the shipping data on 5/8, was received on 5/9 and was delivered to me on 5/14. It's still a glitch in the system, maybe due to their increased use of FedEx and is still an inconvenience to us buyers, though. However, it may be on its way. Still "processing" for me, too. I don't even start looking until more than a week has passed, but then I start getting antsy. I also won't count on getting any extras, as I haven't flung many things, and will just be really tickled when my package arrives (just to get the package), and doubly so if there are extras.

Just to update anybody who cares, I revieved my package (no extras) on Saturday (the 17th), but my profile still lists my fling as 'Processing'. So (obviously) I have opened a rift in the space-time fabric and we are all about to die a very painful death. It's not particularly silly, is it? I mean, the right leg isn't silly at all and the left leg merely does a forward aerial half turn every alternate step.

Curious how other peoples' batteries came out. I grabbed 3 of these (perfect for an international trip...cheap batteries/cheap charger capable of European currents...so if something goes 'poof!', no great loss). BUT, I tested the batteries, which are getting a little old at this point. First test was REALLY bad (like 500mAh for them...supposedly rated to 1800), so after running a refresh cycle, I managed to get them to about 1500mAh. Anyone else have a BC-900 charger or similar that can test them? I've only run one package so far (refreshes take a long time)?

Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear...the BC-900 'refresh cycle' does that...keeps discharging/charging until no increase is found. Control battery (a 2500mAh Sanyo that was nearby) charged up to 2.55Ah. No complaints for $3.33, just wondering about others' experience. I'm working on the 2nd pack now.

Can someone help me out here? I just ordered one of these, but realized that it says it charges up to 4x 2100 mAh batteries. Will this charger not work on 2500 or 2600 mAh batteries?

i have a bunch of these already! they are GREAT! just don't forget, there is a little lever in the battery compartment (top, center) that you need to move to go from AAA to AA battery size.
i think i have 6 or 9 of these (i think there is a box of them that i haven't opened yet!
don't hesitate to buy one of these and then buy a bunch of NiMH batteries to go with them!
on another note, thing fling has recently done something for me above and beyond the call of duty! i won't say what it is, but they certainly earned my loyalty (which they seem to have had already!)
if anyone is wondering about the quality of the service and integrity of thing fling, wonder no longer! they are first class!
yes, it is true that sometimes seem to take a little long to ship... i don't know their business model, but it very well could be that they don't even order the products until the orders come in. i suspect that they order the first time anticipating how many pieces that they can sell later on down the road when they make their initial order.
it isn't easy pulling together the logistics of an operation such as this. condiser that someone actually READS all of these posts as evidenced by the number of people that have joyfully expounded that thingfling has put extras in their boxes based upon comments that they have made in the message board. pet stuff for one person's 2 pets comes to mind.
the flash lights from ten dollar mystery box number 3 seemed like a total waste... i stopped at FAMILY DOLLAR for some styrofoam cups and coke zero nad saw 2-packs of everready D general purpose D cells for a buck for a pack of 2. i bought 6 packs for 6 bucks and had 12 batteries... enough for all 6 flashlights.
we stopped for dinner at a bbq place about 5 or 6 miles from home and the power went out there. when we were done, we went home and suprise! the power was out there too... it's kind of rural out here in the county.) my daughter wanted to light some candles... (can you imagine a 16 year old (16 going on "I HATE YOU!" you know that awkward age... a room with clothes covering the floor... no candes in there, EVER!
i brought out the flashlights that i recieved a couple days before and had just filled with batteries that day. they came in handy because the power was out 2 hours that day, and another 1 1/2 hour the next... no, we don't live in cuba or haiti... we're in east tennessee and when the power goes out, it is out for a while.
that's enough for now!
keep flinging as long as you have the $$$! these are the GOOD GUYS!

sorry, a little off topic but... I am another of the ones that will gladly, with exuberance even tell people they( TF) are 1ST Class I too have received little extras in MBs based on forum postings, not for pets I have none currently but for myself. I have MS( Multiple Sclerosis) and live in Georgia. Had been trying to get cool downs for the coming summer and kept missing them. Lady Fling dropped a box of em in one of my MBs and I LOVE them. I have since ordered 3 more boxes of cool downz and donated them to my MS Support group with whom I also share several of my TF stories and MB items.
