24 hours of these? They must have almost as many as the 32MB compactflash cards.

these batteries might not be a good match... quoting from the charger specs, "This Monster Cable charger can charge up to four 2100 mAh AA or AAA batteries simultaneously in just over an hour"[/quote]

TennesseeBill,

It's the exact combo I use every day, and the results are amazing. The Tenergy 2600's charge up in less than 90 minutes and seem to perform better than most expensive name-brand alkaline batteries. I'm sure other brands of 2600mAh batteries would do well, but that's the brand I use.

GRRR!!! I want one but it's saying I've already used my coupon code up? I'm suppossed to be able to use it 3x right? I did buy 3 MBs. If I wait from a response tomorrow sometime, my shipping charges will go back up to $6 instead of $4.

Edit: I was just going through my emails and oops ... TF had sent an email explaining about the coupons. Sorry TF ... I like the site so much that after being gone since this morning, of course when I got home I came right in to check the site. Didn't check my email til several hours later. Embarassed

Here's a close-up photo of this charger with batteries in it (from another web site). It appears that there is not a cover over the batteries when they are in the charger.

Tiger Direct has the Ultra brand 4 channel charger, with 4 AA 2500 Mah and 6 AAA nimh batteries, for $25 plus shipping. I have two of those that I use. They are not quick chargers, 8 hour type, but they work well, and come with 10 batteries.

I just bought 3 of these and used all 3 of my $3.33 coupons. Do you suppose that pricing is a coincidence? Or did TF purchase a truckload of these to give us something to buy with our coupons? In any case, three of these for only $6.00 is a very good deal. I'll throw my 2-at-a-time chargers in this summer's garage sale and probably get my $6.00 back.

OK now that I checked my email and get my new coupon code/s from My Flings ... I try to fling one with two coupons ... won't work. Get some kind of failed transaction notice. So ... I try with one and get the same responce. I don't want to try w/o using a coupon at all, cause with my luck, that's the one that'll go through. Was just wondering if anyone else was having a prob?

the tenegery batteries are exactly the ones that i have been using. they seem to last longer than the cheap ones from walmart... more amphours, i believe. they work in our digital cameras as well as a housefull of mp3 players.

the quick charge of this monster is what motivated me to buy 3 of them... might buy another 3 more since it charges each cell separately, rather than pairs like my old charger.

here are a couple of the package deals that are being run right now with free shipping... everyone here likes free!

High capacity NiMH Rechargeable battery package: 24 AA 2600 mAh + 12 AAA 1000 mAh FREE Shipping
Regular Price $89.99

Sale Price $45.99

High capacity NiMH Rechargeable battery package: 4 AA 2600 mAh + 4 AAA 1000 mAh

Regular Price $49.99

Sale Price $10.99
here's the link again if you are interested... i just ordered the first combo... they have others on that page.

I had the same problem when I tried to use Paypal. I tried it 3 times with no luck so I thought I would give it a shot using my credit card instead. That went through without a problem which was strange since I had used Paypal on 4 other purchases here the same day. Think

... and don't forget to grab some codes from Retail Me Not dot com before you buy the Tenergy batteries so you save even more money.

The Monster Pro Charger is one of the very best deals I have ever gotten here at ThingFling, and at this price it is probably the BEST.

FWIW, this thing HATES Eneloops....for some reason, Eneloops charged in this last just about half as long in a Wiimote vs. Eneloops charged in the "official" Eneloop charger.

Thanks! Not crazy over the exposed batteries though...but for the price compared to that store...I wonder if I should snag them anyway and plug them in a room that they won't be seen by anyone! Think

why would it normally come with a car adapter? Would one charge batteries in the car?

Thanks to rkwood for the heads up for retail me not dot com. Between the coupons there and the cheap, cheap NiMH batteries at all-battery dot com (thanks tennesseebill) I couldn't help but fling a couple of these chargers. Smile
Fling0: AMB XXVIII ($39.00)
Fling1: Monster Cable Digital Battery Charger w 4AA 1850mAh batteries ($9.00 after 10% off coupon)
Fling2: 2 Siren 4Gb MP3 Players ($39.99)
Fling3: 2x Monster High Capacity Pro Charger ($3.33 each)
Fling4: 12 Super-Bright 9 LED Flashlights ($13.98 )
Fling5: 12 Super-Bright 9 LED Flashlights - LAST TIME SALE ($13.98 )
Fling6: AMB XL (Power Squid) ($12.59)

It's not particularly silly, is it? I mean, the right leg isn't silly at all and the left leg merely does a forward aerial half turn every alternate step.

Sounds like paypal doesn't know what to do with the new multiple coupons system. They probably need to fiddle with the interface.

I always pay directly via credit card here, and had no problems using multiple coupons and picking up these chargers.

It is a good option when on a trip in the car/rv. recharge your batteries while on the road.
Of course you can use an inverter to run the charger.

chargers exposing their batteries ???? Shame shameLaughing Laughing Laughing

Edit: sorry bad joke.

paypal does 'virtual credit cards' now. it can generate credit card numbers on the fly so you don't have to pick the paypal option. i haven't tried it... i have a paypal debit card... pays 1 percent on purchases... but have seen the message several times that they are offering it. i believe they have a paypal toolbar that you can click and it will autofill the order form with your paypal verified address and a virtual credit card number.

I used one of the virtual debit cards from paypal while I was waiting to get my actual card. I earn one percent with mine too, was a bit upset that I couldn't use the coupons with it. Would have been very much back, but every little bit helps. I don't know if paypal virtual debit card has changed or not since I used it, but mine didn't come with a security code and that cause a little bit of a problem with using it.

I stacked my coupons to get this charger (I lost $0.66 in the deal after a charger + S/H but whatever, free is worth it Smile)

Then thanks to the coupon suggestion for all-battery.com I got 8 AA 2600mAh batteries and 8 AAA 10000 mAh batteries for about $18 shipped... can't go wrong there man.

FYI the "package" I picked was the 8xAA 8xAAA for $20, I used the free shipping + 7% off coupon (saved me $10 in shipping alone)... great deal!

Excellent tips! Thanks rkwood and tennesseebill - I picked up the coupon for 12% off, bought two of the free shipping bundles. I would never have purchased the 2600mah without your personal testament they worked. Between the chargers, batteries and car power inverter - my battery supply is good to go for hurricane season.

SUPER BIG THANK YOU TO THING FLING FOR THE SUPER MONSTER CHARGER DEAL

BRAVO ZULU!! Applause Applause Applause Applause
