Welp..I tried! I tried really really hard to resist! That failed! FLUNG ONE!

Boy..it's a good thing I have a separate shopping account to play with or my mortgage would never get paid! Laughing

I'm so addicted to these MB's! They're way too much fun! It's become more of a "family thing" here now...when a box shows up we gather, dig and divide! I think I'll serve some wine & hors d'oeuvres when this one arrives! Laughing

HEY..I have a box being delivered today! I almost forgot what I ordered! Too much fun! I think my heap of sunglasses are coming today too! I heard some got reading glasses...I could use a new pair of those that's for sure! Applause Ok Fedex....move that truck!

At least they dont send you 42/48 DEAD cell lights
4 DEAD poker watches
PROMISE stackable concession coupons that never come to pass

Ahhhhh.. yeah, Woot might be ebol... but at least I know what I'm dropping my hard earned cash on and know that they'll replace it if it dosent work properly.

just curious...what happened when you replaced the batteries on those items?

Huh?
TF has stated in the past that they would not send out items that are DOA.
Guess what, a vast majority of my box was DOA.
Why the HELL should I spend money to make the items functional when the original intention of the manufacturer was that they work straight out of the box?

Dont give me this crap please.

Also lets remember that "King" promised the coupons they passed out so liberally would be stackable within a week... guess what.. it's been a week and no stackable coupon thus far.

Lets remember part 2: Shaggy stated that TF was looking into ways to "make things right" for those customers who felt ripped off. That was 6 days ago and still, NOTHING.

These guys dont care about their customers.. they care about the bank accounts.
They got their money and now they're blowing all kinds of smoke up our asses to placate us and keep us quiet.

I aint shutting up any longer.

They screwed me and I didnt even get a kiss.

Just keeping it real!

No way. The promise of "no poker watches or cell lights" probably means that what you'll get is "poker lights" and "cell watches".

I sent in a reasonably thoughtful email via trouble ticket about the last mystery. I got a response of "we'll pass that along" and nothing else. And please note - I wasn't asking for a refund or any financial compensation. I asked simply for a note of apology and at the very least, a pledge that similar "deals" would not be perpetrated. (yes, I said apology - stating that "This one is a HOME RUN!" as part of their item description simply doesn't hold true as a description of the trash I was sent).

No, I'm not in a hurry to give thingfling my money.

if you read the description, you would have seen that it stated there were no returns

where did the King promise that they'd be stackable within a week? I haven't seen that...I saw an estimate that it might take a week or so...but no firm date

if you want to "keep it real", then be "real"....say that you bought a mystery box...and you're upset that you can't resell it for a profit...say that you didn't realize that a mystery is just that...something that you don't know what it is....say that you wanted to get the big screen TV rather than the items everyone else got....

IMHO, TF didn't even owe anyone coupons....you bought a complete mystery...for ten WHOLE dollars (doesn't matter if you bought 1 or 6...the box was 10 bucks...it's your own lookout if you bought more than one)....how much does the typical person spend at starbucks in a week? 30? count your blessings...at least you're not THAT dumb that you'd spend 6 bucks on a cup of coffee....
39 flings as of 7-4-08 and counting

I don't like Starbucks..their coffee is bitter..but now a Mystery Box..well..that's another story altogether! SO WELL WORTH IT and so much FUN to dig thru! I don't buy for profit though..I buy for the fun of it only!

Some people do Poker Night or Game night with the family..we do Mystery Box night! Very Happy Too much fun! What will I serve when this box arrives...hmmm..maybe I'll make a chocolate cheesecake and coffee for this one!

Hmm, looks like they are getting the coupons close to being stackable, they have a new apply button, but if you try to add more than one it doesn's work yet. Get em stackin Royal Court and I am in for an LMBIII.

Exclamation Caution: Cat Talk! Exclamation

Quote:
Yep! That's a kitten pic of her actually..she was 6 months old! She's a big-un..18 pounds of sheer muscle now! She's odd..depending on her mood..she morphs from looking like a spotted normal sized cat to a spotted large wild cat..it's like having two cats in one! I don't know how she does it..it's all in the walk I think..when she prances she looks like a cat..but her normal walk is quite panther like and she looks much larger and wild then. Then we won't even go into her freaky personality..it's like having a dog in a cat's body! Laughing

A kitten pic?! Wow, she IS huge! Mine is 12 lbs..tiny compared to Lucy! But she always looks like a wild cat...she's runty, but very exotic looking, even when she's in her "normal cat mood." Smile And I totally know what you mean about freaky personalities!

I couldn't pass up a mystery. I have a little extra spending money left over from last month. I thought that the last MB was fun. I am hoping for something decent in this one and the thought of no more lights or poker watches is great. I have a lot of birthday's of family and friends coming up, so the items in this box might make for good gifts.

I am hopping for a shagging, but will probably be happy regardless. Now half the fun begins, waiting for the box to arrive.

Sitting down with a cup o grog to mull the possibilities over. If I order this and hubby makes me walk the plank at least I can go out with a smile on me face. Bad Grin Anyone tried stacking lately?

I was wondering if the items in this Leftover Mysterybox III are going to be duplicates of the Leftover MysteryBox II.
I would like to order one but am not looking to get the same items again.
Anyone have any info about this in case I missed a post on it?

CHecking in from the office to see how things are going....and not surprised to see a lot of Happy Flingers and then...yes...there was that one or two that still cant get over what ever it was that they feel they were wronged about. I swear this thread is about LMBIII? Okay so I was one of the first to Fling last night (my time ..west coast) and I am just reading the speculations of what will be in them and it all sounds good to me. If you have a gripe about another box, you should make a thread in the forum about being disgruntled and keep the complaining there. I always wonder though, if your unhappy, why you would keep coming back?? Once bitten, twice shy...not once bitten ...bite back till no one cares anymore. That being said I sure hope I get a Crotn watch , but if I dont it's all good! I am off to my work again. Have fun and notice I have a kitty pix as my avatar! Go kitties!!!Dancing
