janeey wrote:Okay, I did it - I pulled the trigger. I just have one eensy little request for the King and Queen. I need a fan! Can you please throw in one of the little fans that you gave the newbies last time? In my childbirth classes, they told us to bring a handheld fan to keep cool. Now, I'm sure I could go to Target and buy one for under $5, but what fun would that be? My baby is due in 6 weeks, and wouldn't it be fun to have a Thing Fling fan to keep me cool? Of course, that doesn't mean I don't want the other great stuff in the MB - I just want a fan thrown in there too! Pretty please? Oh, me too (except the pregnant part)! ...congrats janeey (on the baby as well as the MB)!

Went in halfsies with the gf on this one because in general our mb's have been really worthwhile. She got shagged on the 3.77 mb and the three I got were fairly decent, worth the $12 or so I spent. The 24.99 mb was also very nice. We split 3 of the infamous 9.99 mbs and even though they weren't at all what we expected from the homerun comment and all the hype, everything worked and I can find uses for some of the stuff. The only gripe I have is the shipping time. It didn't seem like a big deal when shipping was "free", but now that there is a seperate fee I feel like it should be sent out in a more timely manner... just my thoughts on how things are.

I didn't go for the MB today. I'm still very weary of them.
I will say though, I am pleased that TF stacked the coupons. I accept it as an apology of sorts and feel they did right by doing that. I may consider another box and will swear off reading the forums when the next MB is offered. As a fairly new noob, who hadn't visited the forums prior to the MB purchase, it was kinda frightening reading. So IF I decide to get a MB in the future, the forums are off limits for me. I will give TF another chance in the future, maybe a long future, but a second chance nonetheless.
Hope those that got the MB will be happier than with the last one.

What happens if you bought it before the coupons were stackable? Do I get a coupon or anything back? OR am I SOL?

At least I can keep someone else from getting burned by this site. I am buying in the woot off as well !! That is a sure thing and not a random wild guess! True, and even if you manage to get the BOC, at least they warn you its crap, its max $8, and there's a chance you might get something remotely more useful than 48 non functioning cell phone lights... Oh, unless this one is a 'can't miss' 'Homerun'....

I only got to use one coupon also . No worries, lots of good things so I'm sure we'll find something else to stack them on.

Maybe this has already been said, I don't know, and I havent been around long enough to know average prices around here, but are all mb's around $59.99?? Or did they up the price because they knew alot of people were going to use coupons? So they won't lose so much money. Am I wrong? Just curious, If I'm wrong I'm wrong, no biggie.

HI THERE! Where's your cat's pictures in the Everything else forum??hmmmm? The prices on the MB's vary..they've had $3.00+ ones some $19.99, 24.99, 29.99 etc etc...It just depends..most of them are great..the pricier the MB the better the stuff! I ordered this one with a coupon. I ordered the Monster Cable mystery box which is supposed to be here today...from the weight of it..someone said I got shagged so I can't wait for that box to get here! But it all depends..some are small and some are big! Some are Shagged and some are not! Sometimes you feel like a nut...............
