I miss my friends!

Thanks for crying with me! This place just isn't the same with all the disappointments and bickering.

welp..on the upside..we're all friends! You know what's missing though...Melmo, Milk and Veedub! Where the Hell ARE they? Has anyone else gone completely AWOL that I'm missing?

I think... Thing fling ought to take a good look at some of the adverse affects their series of changes as of late are having on the morphology of their community. Frankly after this last mystery box for the first time in my flinging history I realized I was finally "full" on the mystery box thing.... Things will change of course and who knows but feel like a habit has kinda broken (for me). But I have in general been flinging far less so that probably contributes... I still like thingfling but I feel like.. we take one step closer to woot every week lately and along with it the forums become like woot too.

I sometimes feel a little guilty for being on opposite sides of you everything else folks a month or so ago before I had a chance to get to know you all. But lately I have been feeling glad that conflict happened because it resulted in the Everything Else forum essentially breaking away from the rest of the forum. IT may be quiet in here as of late but it has more or less been a safe peaceful haven compared to the rest of the forum.

Anyway my views are probably becoming increasingly unpopular amongst thingfling crew, but I just say it how I see it, guys.

I am not leaving, I have just been really depressed of late. Way to much BS in my life. I have been coming here and reading the posts, just not posting. I still had a bad taste in my mouth from TF mouth****ing us with that 9.99 MB. I am here though.

Glad you are still here Vee - from the PM's we've exchanged, we are in the same boat in a lot of respects, and I know how tough it can be. Chin up my friend! I have to keep reminding myself to take everything one day at a time, and do my best not to let life get to me too much.

Like everyone else, I wasn't too happy with the MB (except for the "shagged" box I received), but hell - I'm not going to go all crazy and try to shut TF down. It's gotten way out of hand in the other thread..... The main reason I started posting on this forum is because it was a nice place to hang, and 100% opposite from the Woot forum. The "cheerleaders" and "cat ladies" need to try and keep it that way!!

Morning all!! I've barely drank my first cup of coffee and my eyes are barely focusing here ..UGH So this may be long and confusing...

I live on message boards..seriously...I'm admin on 5 that I can remember and moderater on so many I can't count. So when Melmo started getting the ball rolling here, I was like COOL! another board to hang at. (some of my boasrds are getting boring...I know I should do something to get them lively again, but no time)

I was fairly new here as well, and was trying to get the feel for the place before posting too much. But Melmo started some good topics so I jumped in.

This is the FIRST place I come to when I get online now. I spend WAY too much time here when I shoould be on my other boards, but it's fun here..well atleast it WAS until recently.

I have met some great people in here...I won't name names because I might leave someone out and I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings... Some actually live fairly close to me and I'd love to drive up and meet them some day.

I know that there have been problems amongst us, but we've worked through those*
I know that I had major issues with Wopaul and Knog, but we have moved on and can be civil to each other now. I have no hard feelings towards anyone...we all have different opinions and need to respect the other persons...even though it is hard sometimes.

I have come to respect and love ThingFling staff as much and, yeah, I defend them all the time. But they ARE a business! Granted this last MB was a bit bad, but I think they realize that (especially after all that bashing!) and I believe they will learn from it.

I DO think that we need to get the Everything Else forum up and going again...lol It IS fun in here and we really are getting to know each other well.....Let's forget the other BS and focus on Flinging AND Fun!!

*Scared...I never really felt that you were 'against' us OR 'on the other side of the fence'...you were never pushy with your opinions as others were. You very eloquently (sp?) stated your feelings in a very nice way. I personally gained a lot of insight from some of the posts that you considered against what we were saying. Please keep on keeping us enlighted...lol For sometimes we need to see it in your words, which are very well thought out.

I think I've only seen a couple of posts that you've flown off the handle But it happens. I value your friendship even more because of this.
