Did they give you a choice in the end or no? I did the questions and I got the email telling me to complete the order but I didn't see where I can choose a color.

I take offense to the comment about men and kitchen gadgets. I know my way around the kitchen. I also always read the instructions to get a working knowledge of the subject at hand, unlike most of my fellow men who say "we don't need instructions" and then look dumb when they mess up, or forget to put water in the reservoir. Scared, Beanie Weenie has a Wiki?? EEEEEEEEEEEW! Under what category...PTOMAINE? Hubby works in a building right next to it so some days the whole building reeks of greasy food. Shirlington isn't that bad, there's some brewery/restaurant place there I've heard is good...tho, I don't drink beer. Greek Greek! Sorry about that typo, I didn't mean to call you reek! Actually my keyboard drives me nuts, it's a very awesome Microsoft wireless set, EXCEPT for the fact that thing has the most abysmal wireless connection I've ever had the displeasure to deal with. The receiver has to practically be right next to the keyboard to function even decently, and even then it constantly just drops characters that were typed. Drives me batty. Microsoft has a great hardware replacement department for defective products. You just call them up and they send you a new one without much hassle, even if you didn't buy it directly from them in the first p-lace. They've sent me like three replacements so far. All end up with the same problem, I'm hoping they'll clue in and give me an upgrade to their next model eventually. Well if it's the Weanie Beanie then I assume it's the right one as the wiki said it was in Shirlington. Yep has a wiki, apparently back in its hey day it was a chain too!

Well..you're a unique one...my ex couldn't find the dishwasher if you put an LED beacon on top of it and a scrolling marquee light saying DISHWASHER HERE and pointed directly AT it! One time he decided HE was going to make a milkshake all by himself...well...he put the blender together..I offered to do it for him but you know..the yank away and "I can do it myself..leave me alone!" so..ok..he screwed on the bottom..first..THEN put the blade in..put it on top of the base..added his stuff and flipped the switch....well....THAT was a real mess...the entire milkshake came out the bottom..into the base..all over the countertops...etc etc etc. He had to buy me a new blender! He never touched that new one!

Not to go OT...but I used to have two Microsoft wireless keyboard and mousessesss..hated them! One was the bluetooth and the other just wireless....the bluetooth kept losing connection and the wireless did exactly what is happening to yours. I now have the Logitech Wave Desktop (keyboard and mouse for those that have no idea what that is) and it's an awesome set up and the keyboard is very comfortable. If you ever decide to give up on Microsoft..go with the Logitech Wave...very nice. And no problems in any way..alot of nice features also. ok..resume topic. I want a Senseo in RED!

Mine arrived yesterday - basic black model. Didn't open it since I plan to give it as a gift. Thanks for the info, everybody. I am currently typing on a nice Kensington wireless keyboard (I think they make the best accessories for Mac, including the ones Apple makes). It is, however, a little wonky at times. Sometimes it gets into a mode where it loses a lot of keystrokes and needs to be reset. But then, the Logitech I used to use with my old Windows machine was the same way. I need to find me an agreeable spouse someday.. it sounds fun to make fun of them. I like the keyboard and mouse in every way except the reception which unfortunately is a pretty big part of the whole wireless dealy! It's a Microsoft laser desktop 6000. Ava, I was just looking at the Logitech wave, I would go with it EXCEPT: the primary reason why I am trying to figure out how to stick with Microsoft gear is because intellipoint which is the software that goes with all msoft mice has a built in screen magnifyer function which you can assign to one of the mice buttons. I've grown pretty reliant on that function as it is one of the best implementations o the idea I've seen, but also because since my surgery in October my vision oftern needs the help. The logitech software doesn't have any such thing built in. It is possible to assign a logitech button to launch a third party program, and if I can find a decent 3rd party screen magnifyer as good or better than the Microsoft one in intellipoint is, that is an option I might take. So for now I kiss the spell check extension I found for Firefox.

I wonder just how many of these thing you CAN get before they catch on? Three things I can think of that might trip you up. Address, Credit Card Number, and email address. Address should be fine if you play the game. "123 Main Street" can become "123 Main Street #101", "123 Main Street Apt. 101", "123 Main Street Suite 101" etc. Email address is trivial. Most ISPs these days give you more than one email address anyway, and there's always gmail, hotmail, etc. Credit card could be tricky. You should be able to do one time with PayPal and once with the credit card. If you have multiple cards, or one of the ones that uses one-time card numbers for online use, you're home free. WOW! I put my order in monday, received it today. FAST.
Only problem is... this thing is too expensive for me to use regularly. I like my coffee relatively weak so used 1 pod to do a double cup (which is actually 1 regular sized mug) and it was tea-weak. I'll give it one more try, but at $0.35 a pod its not really worth it maybe.

I've been doing offers like this for years, and have discussed it with an attorney. To be fraud you must misrepresent yourself in some way. As long as you use your real name, real credit card number, real address, real information in general, and don't sign something certifying that you haven't taken part in the offer before, you're not committing fraud. You ARE taking advantage of a known loophole in their system, but that's not the same thing as fraud. Do a search on Ebau for "senseo filter" and you'll see plenty of the permanent filters for sale. I try not to take advantage of the Senseo program. And a great ideal/idea by a major company. So I wish it to be long lived and others may do similar things. A question of karma comes in play here. In my opinion there is not much harm in regifting what you receive, as I think it still plays with the spirit of the share senseo promotion. And indeed not only does it get the product further out there, but also increases revenue on the true money maker, the pods. But there are those who get the machine and then turn around and ebay them, whether intended from the get go or after they decided they didn't like it. This is just a question of morales and ethics and everyone will hold themselves up to their own measure, but it is in my opinion bad form and yes bad karma. If you don't like it, I say just pass it on.

And I would have liked to have gotten everyone one of these. So I had tried to get another, but it said I had already Qualified...So I had to use Heather's email. I would NEVER take advantage of something like that. What would I, personally need 2 or more for?? I don't DO ebay! I would gift it maybe..but not sell it. VEE....A friend just told me today that Walmart discoutinued selling the filters now Try the Senseo site..I'm sure they'll have one!! 49 Flings Flung and WAAY more to come!Female in case you don't know LMAO

Thanks Debs, I just didn't want to wait for it to ship. I am gonna get the coffee duck I guess. I never thought you were committing fraud, I meant the people who take advantage of companies for personal gain. I took advantage of this company, but I intend on using the product, not selling it. Oh well to each their own. Zombies are my favorite! I know what AVA looks like
